Yeah...I am working on Awakenings and I dunno if maybe it was because I was tired or I was experiencing a derp moment but...only after I defeated the Silverite Mines did I realize I TOTALLY skipped over the first place I supposed to go to first...Knothole Hills.  I played it before so I vaguely remember it has something to do with broodmothers...has anyone else made this mistake before? Lol. XD

I guess you could do any of them first, but I just had this nagging feeling they wanted your to go to Kal'Hirol first...working my way through it as we speak, actually, because at the end of the Mines when the Architect is speaking to Utha, it made me feel like she was at Kal'Hirol... -shrugs-  I guess that is me just being paranoid.

Only because Sigrun is way more fun to have around than Valenna, or Velanna, or whatever that crazy elf's name is.

At the end of the mines quest, Utha and the Architect are talking in the passage that they just sealed you off from going in. They weren't in Kal-Hirol.

In a sense she is romanceable in Mass Effect 2 - her VA also voices Morinth.

I just realized how bugged Awakenings is though...I can't do Sigrun's companion quest because I did Law & Order BEFORE I got her...I can't do Valenna's companion quest because its just glitched...I have travelled back and forth between Amaranthine and Vigil's Keep for an hour trying to get the random event before giving up! XD  Oh!  I also got the merchant Lillth...she was like, "Remember me?  Thank you for rescuing me!"  I had no idea who she was, but I was, "Suuure...ok!"  I was headed to the Mother's Lair and I got a random event and BAM!  I rescued Lilith, "Oh thank you for saving me!  I'll be happy to go sell things at the Vigil for you!"  WUUUUUH!?!?!  WHO IS SCREWING WITH THE TEMPORAL RIFT!!

It's a sad truth that to avoid many glitches in DAA you should do the quests in a certain order, or interrupt one: for example to complete Sigruns joining you should leave KalHirol before going into the last level return to vigil, join Sigruns then complete KalHirol

Hm. I felt differently in that the game seemed to nag me to find out what happened to Kristoff first. Not that I mind, really, because dat armour set...

For Velanna, I never do the righteous path quest last.. You'll never be to join her then. Generally do the black marsh last.... And avoid Justices big disapproval for her joining

I usually do Kal'Hirol first because a darkspawn breeding ground sounds the most urgent, and because it sets up the two factions quite well.
I usually then do Silverite Mines, followed by Blackmarsh.
Really, you have to do Blackmarsh last if you want to be able to induct Sigrun and Velanna into the Wardens (since Justice is already a Warden).

My copy of Awakening no longer works-but I always went Wending Wood-Kal-Hirol-Blackmarsh as well.
