Now that the voice actors' accents are confirmed I would be very surprised if he wasn't Ferelden.

I just hope we're not forced to play as a Fereldan again. Compared to all the other countries in Thedas, Ferelden seems by far like the most boring one to me and I don't see a reason why we should have to play as someone from there in three games in a row.
 
Concerning the Human Inquisitor's status in society, I think I'd actually enjoy playing a noble background if it is Orlesian Nobility this time. The human noble origin in DA:O was very boring to me, one of the main reasons why I never finished the game with a human character, but if the Orlesian game, their fabulous fashion and parties and all that were a part of our characters life, I would actually like to play a human this time.

Orlais is so much more interesting to me than Ferelden, that I'd be a little disappointed if we're not from Orlais... or didn't at least grow up there.

What would be more awkward? A Fereldan Inquisitor dealing with Orleasian nobles, or an Orleasian Inquisitor dealing with Fereldan nobles?

I preferred the Dwarf Noble origin, The origin story was much more political and closer to ASOIAF than the human noble one imo. I ended up picking HN anyway since my Dwarf couldn't become Prince-Consort lol

Part of me hopes the Human origin doesn't have any awesome power grabs exclusive to that origin like the Prince-Consort option otherwise I will have to play a human again and I really wanted to play a Qunari.

I do hope they aren't A Ferelden though, As much as I like Ferelden I don't want to be one for a third time, Hope he is a Orlesian or Nevarran...Or Tevinter!

The latter definitely, A diplomatic Fereldan' Inquisitor can deal with those stuffy Orlessian nobles, An Orlessian Inquisitor on the other hand is gonna face some problems among the nobility because most of the Fereldan still hates Orlais for enslaving them, Orlais cannot hate Fereldan for kicking them out, (It'd be like British hating half the world).and because of that Damned Accent .

I personally still hope the Human will be of Nevarran origin, but it sounds like thats not gonna happen.
