I cant believe the krogan meleeing between rounds is a 'new' thing. its been new for quite a while now.

anyway, ive always meleed teammates in games as a greeting. monday night combat, too human, boarder lands, halo.....

Also, that player may have been me (different gamertag than my username here, but similar). I was finishing up my nomad challenge and used a kroguard for all the bronze and silver games. Was he the host? I was definitely headbutting everybody like crazy since it's been a long time since I've played a krogan I do recall nobody melee'd me back much so I suppose nobody knew about the tradition.

 

But I don't remember quitting during the game. I may have quit after the game was over though.

Nobody quit during the game, But in the lobby. Also I was the only one in the game who got headbutted. That's what made me think I did something wrong. A couple times during one wave with brutes when the Krogan was fighting I ran around behind it and hit it with sabotage, then sticky grenade and unloaded my machine gun till it dropped. Later I read online that some people would see this as "stealing kills". So that is why I made this post. 

 

 I did have a few matches with a board member that gave me a good understanding of the game. Read a lot through this site and online. Just trying to be a good learner.

 

 Next time I will melee back.  

 

 i do remember the GT though, Pretty sure is was Tues evening. keeping an eye out for it.

This is new to me.

 

I don't play with many krogan and even when I do, I never see them headbutting.

 

Guess I'll remember it for when it happens to me.

I don't remember much what my squadmates were using (I was too busy meleeing all the things), but it was definitely Tuesday around 8pm (-8 GMT). I remember I also had a hard time getting players for my lobbies so I just started the game and hoped they would drop in (which they did).

Edit: and nobody who really knows the game cares about kill stealing.

It's funny you mention that. I just played finished a pug game where a Fury player rocketed my feet. Accident?....I think not

Whenever someone is doing a device I like to run up and asarigasm all over their face. Especially if I'm playing the AJA, then I hit them with a bubble AND an asarigasm.

 Actually I show my displeasure by unloading at least 2 mags at teammates while enemies are around. I try to have them look at me when I do it. Doesn't happen often, though. Mostly when they consistently get into my way or bump into me.

I'll be quite honest, when I play with my friend.... we often shoot each other in the face. No harm done, there is no friendly fire We just do it for sh*ts and giggles... lol...

I just want to reiterate and confirm that meleeing between rounds is NOT an insult or criticism, its a greeting of sorts and its polite to melee back, especially if you are krogan. Two batarians make for an epic brofisting

If someone gets mad at you for stealing kills, you're doing it right.  It's a team game, we all get the creds at the end.  And if you leave the kill to the pug, it will probably be them that gets killed instead of the enemy.  Better safe than sorry!

The Krogan headbutt is a friendly and most polite gesture, like helicopter dick in public place. It's an act of acknowledgement and endearment.
