This is good news. Even though the hop is
betterbest, I'm still somewhat disappointed that my robot space ninja doesn't do cartwheels.
I kinda like human rolls better. I think they sometimes even roll beneath the Brute swipes.

I guess it depends on the characters I guess. Typically the ones with no dodge work better, and they are pretty slow walkers in general (krogans, turians, etc.).
Miss the pick up with the Cabal and it's a long walk back to get it back again.
you should run with the pizza. if it's cold by the time you deliver it you don't get paid.
I do headbutt every step as a Krogan though. Even when I'm carrying the pizza
You should be doing is especially when carrying the pizza. It makes you go faster.

Funny how humour can just get lost somehow - I did wink.
I asari dodge with the pizza, but I've never really been able to get down running with it. Not consistently anyway. I don't mind if people do it.

Not really worth the effort on consoles. You simply can't run it like on pc.
On behalf of all console scrubs I promise we'll stop b*tching the second you stop going on and on about fps, deal?

walking backwards is the way to do it anyway
Any advice on how to practice this skill (without being shot at, or at least under very light fire)?

Play with friends and ask them to kite/kill the enemies while you take the longest route back through as much cover as you can find. You could also practice on Bronze with a TGI/Havoc with Grenade Capacity gear.

I'm currently trying to learn how to do it. I start a private bronze solo on Rio, blast quickly through the first two waves, hope for a pizza on wave 3, kite the things a little if necessary, then practice away until the time runs down. Then start again. Obviously, if you don't get a pizza on 3, quit, and also don't waste any consumables if you happen to get downed. It's a bit boring, and it does take a lot of practice - I'm not finding it easy.
Mother of god. Kung fun volus, i must have this. Can be done.
Will make video of magical teleporting volus pizza delivery vanguard if you ask nicely.
Also, have you seen the volus with the drell melee attacks yet? Kung Fu volus brings all the flexibility and model clipping to the yard.

Believe it or not, play off-host.
Running with the pizza is easier off host, because it's more forgiving of spamming the "everything button" (this obviously applies to consoles, not sure about PC.) On host requires more practiced timing.

I've found that the internet is blind to the winky face.... but do an angry face and everyone notices EVEN if there is a winky face sitting right next to it....
(And it's surprising how the tongue out smiley can be misinterpreted depending on nationality
*has suffered at the hands of an angry *
* face hater...)

From the state of a pizza that I had delivered recently IRL, I think the local delivery guy used the same method.
If its ok IRL, its ok in the game!
It's not all that great on the PC either. Yes, when I'm hosting I can run like the wind, but since I mostly PUG and lag is variable, the timing gets screwed up. I usually drop it a lot then, so I just walk. If the host can run, I don't even bother picking it up.
Don't care if others do it tbh.
I do it all the time. I even cheese hacks (only in solos) and do devices from behind walls ( glacier for example) because I like showing middle finger to the RNG.
But but... don't you know that banging your head against the wall that is RNG = skill?

Any prompted "everything button" interaction with an object has a radius around that object. The radius is a sphere, and extends in every direction from that object.
You can interact with it from anywhere in that sphere, including above, below, or on the other side of a wall or cover. It works with devices, as well as reviving teammates (very important to know when reviving!) You don't need to be facing the object/teammate either, you can be facing any direction, and as long as you are in the sphere of "interactivity" (the prompt will appear) you can activate/revive.
