So while I was playing around with the console to set a few plot flags. I accidentally set the Morrigan Romance flag as active with a female warden. After I had the break up with Leliana over the "sleeping with" Morrigan I went back to a previous save, before I changed the flags.

However after finishing the game as the female warden, I was curious to know (even though there is not much mention of the wardens gender).  Would the warden stil be considered female by the game and all the characters or would I now be treated as male?

 

I'm sure I must not be the first person to have done this, yet I have not found any discussions about this so far.

I have never tried this, but I'm pretty sure only Morrigan will perceive your Warden as male. The rest of the world should still be fine.

I have a couple questions about a Morrigan romance if someone can help me out.

 

1. How does Morrigan react if in love with the warden and the warden decides to become King/Prince consort to Anora? Is there a difference if the warden does the dark ritual or not when it comes to Anora marriage?

 

2. Does Morrigan say anything in Witch hunt if your warden is married to Anora? Can you still leave with her through the mirror?

 

3. Should a good guy human noble not bringing Morrigan as a party member to most quests? She seems to disagree with most of what a "good guy" would be doing. Does it effect the romance sub plot at all if you never have her around other then the camp?

I have my fémme Wardens hook up with Morri' too, to be had, with "Equal Love" and "PolyGamey"-mod in place and letting Loghain carry out the DR to avoid possible head-aches later.

 

By and large, the Warden will be referred to in a gender-neutral way in case they have Morri' registered as a romance, 'tis the case for the entire Witch Hunt DLC, for example.

The epilogue-slide of Morri' in the main-campaign will refer to a "he", I believe, but since that is just text it can easily be edited, I imagine. There are a couple other occasions of VO, such as Leli' and Morri' referring to "him" in banter when verbally having at each other over the Warden, but those too aren't all that many.

As for direct dialogue between Morri' and the Warden, across the board that is very gender-neutral, to be had.

You can do that, yes. Odd for obvious reasons, but then again one might argue that conceiving a "god" is so in the first place.

 

Import into DA:I likely won't recognize this at all, so you may have to settle with registering the Ritual as having been done by 'stair/Mac Tir.

Spoilers....
Being deliberately vague, Morrigan doesn't care. As for leaving her behind, outside of her personal quests it can fine. You just miss some of the best dialog of the game. If youre on a PC there's a mod that restores Morrigan's lost scenes
