I PUG as much as I've always done, that is to say, lots. [You'll just have to take my word that I've played this game a fair bit 
]
Mainly cus of the fact you can't see the status of other players on your friends list i.e. in lobby/match/SP etc, not particularly helpful 
Having said this, I've often ended up in lobbies with people I know (always a nice surprise), which I guess technically is still a PUG match

I almost exclusively pug. I frequently forget to turn my notifications back on after I'm in a different game (xbox) so I don't always see game invites until it's too late to join a game. I kind of like the random nature of it and have a strong preference for dropping into GIPs. From a role playing standpoint I find GIPs to be really fascinating.
