In the leaked survey Cole was called a rogue, so I think he'll probably fill a rogue slot, if any.

Didn't they say that the approval system would be different this time? Or have I read that wrong?

 

It won't exactly work the same.  Conversations will be gated by events, not approval levels.  So you won't have to spam gifts or game the system to unlock conversations.

 

This could also mean that conversations will be differnt based on how you handled certain events. 

 

I think it's been said romances still cannot be triggered if you have a negative approval, though.

(1) I guess people were figuring on that, once it was heard her VA was in the Edmonton area recently. Now, onto speculation as to what role she's going to play. (I personally don't think she will be the Final, Ultimate Big Bad.)

(4)            I'm running out of happiness icons. (Although they have said they were doing this before.)

If our party is composed of the best of the best, I don't see Cullen as a companion. He's competent and experienced, certainly, but hardly in the elite of Thedas' swordsmen. My vote goes for the advisor role, with the bearded Grey Warden as the third warrior companion.

Wait...so we have
* Viv / Solas / (DHMG?)
* Cass / Beardy / ... >> either Iron Bull, then Cullen is just an NPC, or Cullen as warrior and IB rogue
* Sera / Varric / ... >> IB or if he is a warrior, we get a new rogue character. Maybe Cole? (as somebody from Asunder)
