So this guy I play with likes to do this in game lobbies to mess with the randoms that join us.
He will get his character all ready and wait for everyone else to hit ready first...
then the countdown begins...
and we all wait...
and when it gets down to the last second he hits ready, resetting the countdown to 5 again. Every time.
He gets some lolz out of it, I find it a bit cheeky.

How often does he reset the timer?
I was sitting with my friend in a plat lobby, waiting for another friend to join, so I switched to the Destroyer, equipped the Striker, and unequipped all my gear, then readied up, just to troll him- so he readies up, probably knowing that I either don't know how to/would never actually missile glitch, and that if we actually start I'm just going to be stuck with no equipment and a pretty crappy gun... I barely was able to click "ready" in time to stop the countdown lol... He totally almost punked me.
That would've been a really miserable game.
Also, and I think I posted this in the "my last PUG" thread, but its pretty amusing-
I joined a lobby with two guys who were obviously friends, and each had given the other a kick vote- so naturally I put a second kick vote on one of them, kicking them from the lobby. Then I left.

Yeah, hearing that he had passed really took me back... Hadn't watched any pro wrestling since I was pretty young, but I used to eat that sht up, and the Ultimate Warrior was my absolute favorite. Apparently he was only in his 50's, and just keeled over with a heart attack (IIRC). Too bad.
Kick roulette is it. I occasionally play pug lottery but not nearly often enough since platinum pugs will load in with impossible setups and I'm just not wit it.

Agreed. Resetting once because you see that the last guy is equipping consumables, or just changed characters or something like that is one thing. Someone resetting over and over will just make me leave very quickly.

Yup. I'm loathe to extend the countdown more than once precisely because of this, even if there is another player putting on consumables.
I'm prone to leaving slow lobby's out of impatience, so I don't want to make others wait around either.
Speaking of lobby games, I occasionally enjoy playing the JEP game, using the consumables given by my last equipment pack to decide what to play with.
It can make for some... interesting games.

I like to go into plat lobbies with a destroyer/striker knowing full well I'm going to look like a dirty glitcher. The thing is, I don't even know how to missile glitch, so I intend to play fair...just not look like it. Surprisingly, I rarely get kickvoted.
I've only had missile glitchers once or twice in my lobby and I used to pug Plat on PC all the time; that's why I never kick any Player that looks like he's competent even if his loadout would allow him to missile glitch. I think it's not that much of a problem in master race matches.
Pug Lottery.
I also love not placing kick votes on Juggs with no equipment. I find the best way to show them a Jugg does not equal a Platnium Extraction is to let them play and spectate my QFI.
