No I never have that problem because unless the rest of the lobby readies up very fast I'm gone.  If the host is the last to ready up I'm gone after about 10 seconds.

You'd think some morons could also find at least moderately inventive ways to annoy their fellow man.  Seems it is a lost art.  Your friend needs to play with more of the elite BSNers who'll show him a thing or two.

Meh, if he only does it once, I'd allow it as not-douchey.

If he's doing it umpteen times in a row...douchey.

You should dropped a kick vote on him, when he reset the 5sec timer. :) Trollrightback. Most pugs would have followed your lead if he touched the timer again and dropped him immediately. If the pugs still didn't budge drop a kick on one of them. They'll bounce him for sure thinking he's responding to your kick on him. Then invite him back in and kick him again. :D #Machiavelli-of-the-kickvote trademarked and copyrighted.

So, at one time or another I've heard half of BSN bragging about shutting other players in the reactor, Lashing A-bombs at them or kiting Phantoms to them while they are joining a game in progress, yet apparently adding 5 seconds to the countdown is a crime punishable by an immediate kick?

Actually, the people we A-bomb and irradiate most of the time are our friends and fellow BSN'ers, not random pug's.  It's more fun that way, right juggs? :P

Seriously though, we always revive each other afterwards, so what's the harm?

Trolling rocket glitcher's is another matter entirely.

I've only had missile glitchers once or twice in my lobby and I used to pug Plat on PC all the time; that's why I never kick any Player that looks like he's competent even if his loadout would allow him to missile glitch. I think it's not that much of a problem in master race matches.

Wow, I'm actually surprised you've come across missile glitchers at all. I've yet to see one myself.

The only time I ever ran into a glitcher was last year in a silver game, you can't explain that.

I've had a similar experience on X-box, believe it or not.

I joined a W9 game in progress on silver collectors goddess and did my thing.  I noticed a few missiles in the killfeed, but I just thought it was someone spawn nuking, nothing new.

W10 starts, and we get a hack objective, letting me see my team-mates up close for the first time, and I see a N7 fury with a striker.

I still didn't put two and two together because she didn't fire her gun once, just spammed dark channel and throw while popping in and out of cover, which is reasonable.  I figured it was just someone trying out a new gun and discovering that it sucks quad.

Then she starts nuking everything after I've helped them complete the hack.   Needless to say, I spent the whole of W11 hunting for A-bombs to kite into the evac zone.

Seeing that fury panic and nuke the lot at point blank was priceless.

I've only encountered missile glitchers a couple of times (one of them today, coincidentally) but in those games I have never had pizza as an objective. :(

I promoted my Vanguards today and, as I always do when pugging at level 1, searched for an U/U/Silver. The host ninja switched it when I wasn't looking and I only realized it was Platinum when I ran into a Banshee at the start of wave one, just as I heard the whistle of 5 missiles firing into the air. As you could imagine, my Asari with 1 point in Biotic Charge and 1 point in Passives didn't score too high.

In game douchebaggery good. In lobby douchebaggery bad.

I'm taking the moral high ground and say I don't douchbaggery in either game or lobby. Once I accidentally snap freezed an abomb coming into the LZ and took out a PUG, causing them to fail to extract. I felt guilty for that, whilst dida congratulated me

I sort of can. I generally spot glitchers in gold and platinum lobbies so avoid them, whilst I don't expect someone to do it silver. Which is precisely what someone did on a silver glacier, but at least they started to do it on wave 1 so I could quit the game straight-away

I like to go into plat lobbies with a destroyer/striker knowing full well I'm going to look like a dirty glitcher. The thing is, I don't even know how to missile glitch, so I intend to play fair...just not look like it. Surprisingly, I rarely get kickvoted.

I have a rough idea of how to do it but I've never actually tried. And, yeah, the Striker is usually something I use to finish off Assault Rifle Mastery or Resurgence Mastery once they get to 8/9 and I always use to Destroyer to do it because of Devastator Mode. Yet I've never had a single kick vote. I wonder if the PUG's are secretly hoping I am a missile glitcher.

@OP - resetting the timer is a complete douche move if you ask me.

Nearly left a lobby earlier where the timer kept getting reset. Your friend is a dick, OP.

If i'm not mic'd up, I kick friends to acknowledge them.

Only lobby shenanigans I pull is the kickvote thing

In game, I'm definitely a fan of trolling my friends in the reactor. My group of usuals on PS3 won't even go in there anymore most of the time. LMAO

I never used to do the possessed abom nuking, though, until I started playing on XBox. Now, I've become a monster (I'm kinda sorta sorry about that yesterday, Jer...  )

As far as missile glitchers lately, at least the ones I've run across on PS3 have been... well, not rude about it. In that as soon as I see a Destroyer/Striker or Destroyer/Adas drop into my Gold or Plat lobby, I kindly ask them over the mic to not missile glitch in my lobby and if that is their intent, they should leave. And shockingly enough, they've left every time... or if it was a legit player, they switched to a different kit and played a match to show their earnest, and then I'm totally fine rolling with their Destroyer/Striker/Adas next game.
