When you talk to Kolgrim you have the choice to fight him or agree to pour the blood on the ashes. If I choose to pour the blood on the ashes will I still be able to save Eamon in Redcliffe? I tried the battle with Kolgrim but he is extremely difficult.

The key to winning that fight is taking down the mages that are with him. One Mana Clash can take them out, if you have it. if not, use Dog or focus on getting a character to take them out. The sooner you eliminate the mages, the better your chance of winning that fight.
As for Eamon-yes. You can still save him if you spoil the ashes. You can also lie to him and get the ashes, then face a less difficult battle on the mountaintop.

Yep, and if you want to defile the ashes do not take Wynne or Leliana with you. Leave them at camp. Make a save, Drink the blood, defile the ashes, anything you want (for the achievement) Then go back to the save and kill that sob Kolgrim. He is nuts O_o
I died a few times fighting him, but it is worth it. Just try it again.

I'd advise you to trick Kolgrim, then make a half-assed attempt to fool him for a second time on your way home. His mad, shouty voice is fun.

This. When he attacks after you return from your trip to the Gauntlet, Kolgrim will attack with only two buddies. His dragons and mages stand farther back and will not become hostile until you come close enough. You can kill Kolgrim and other guys first before dealing with the rest.
