They tend to frown on a mutha ****** cobra to the face as well.Yeah they dont like AP bullets too much but I would have to agree they are B.S. in packs. It seems like their numbers are never consistant either some matches it seems like there are twice as many. Sure its my imagination but......
Someone has to say it, might as well be me

Or I don't think you have the experience to make an informed decision.
Scrub.
Right, I forgot that unless I'm approaching 1500 hours of play my opinion must be invalid. Like I said, taking it too seriously.

I was actually just kidding, but since you brought manifests into this...
You only have 42 Platinum waves completed. Guess where Dragoons are actually a problem? Cerberus Plat and to a lesser extent Collectors Plat....but you wouldn't know that.

Well you should make it a bit more obvious then
seemed like you were comparing epeen sizes rather than kidding.
Yeah, I don't like platinum. I played it back when it was released but gave up on it rather quickly. I find the boss spam, limited ammo and the fact that casters are marginalized by DPS kits a bit annoying so I stuck to gold ever since (those 40 odd waves were probably for OP Lodestar).
You're right, maybe they're a problem at platinum I wouldn't know, thanks for pointing that out. OP edited.

The worst part about them is how quickly they get back to you on wave 9 Cerberus Plat. They are either trying to kill you or blocking your escape routes. >.<
Overall I love Dragoons for the quick waves and non regenerating defense.

They are annoying and can be deadly when paired up with their phantom girlfriends...yup you dodged his smash attack, but you rolled right into a phantom sync-kill. their hit-detection can be a bit wonky at times too. I can be using my phoenix vangaurd, set a dragoon on fire with inferno ammo, proceed to biotic charge him and his smash animation cancels out my bc...and i end up taking on damage.
Again they are fairly easy to take care of, but in certain scenarios..especially if you're cornered, they can be bothersome and dangerous. Their hornets will have you in the red almost as fast as the phantom hand blasters...

Compared to some of the chit Dark Souls 2 has put me through, killing a Dragoon squad is like clubbing baby seals.

They are not at all hard to deal with by themselves, but I find them to be the most annoying unit in the game due to the combination of speed and home-in aggression with complete silence.
Ironically, I find the basic design is actually quite well done, as their point is apparently to force you into changing position, and if there is more than one that is what you are basically required to do on higher difficulties with most character setups. Which requires good awareness and provides an interesting element of challenge with Cerberus.
Their silence is the design flaw that makes them super annoying when they spawn right behind you, sprint around the corner and stagger you from your current RHA spot into the open to be killed within .02 seconds. Which to me is probably the most annoying way to die. Geth scanner nullifies this, but having to use a gear that generally trivializes what I think to be one of the more interesting aspects of the game just to deal with one annoyance is not satisfying, so **** Dragoons :-).

Sure, they're not that bad... So long as you host.
The slightest lag and their smash animation staggers and shieldgate you even if it happened on the other ****** side of the map, though. Which means you're as dead as when a Phantom skank you, since their l337 XXXVVVIIIIIIIIIIIII hornet will drop you once you're shieldgated, no matter what.
So... Yeah, **** them.

In any case, half of the Geth army are a lot worse.
Especially Hunters, which become completely invincible with lag.

What's funnier is you can still get staggered (and hurt substantially) by the last part of their charge animation - the one where they pull back their whips.
