yeah, and i'm not sure where we got that idea from. yes, they tried it in ME3, but the DA team has not mentioned doing this. And if they were, I would think the appropriate time to say so would be when announcing a NPC LI.
LI has always equated with Companion in DA games. We'll see.......(i hope we're not being weird abt this. needing even more confirmation and all that).

More seriously, even if Cullen isn't a companion in the main game, I'd be willing to bet that he joins the party for a dlc adventure at some point. Wrex did it in the Citadel dlc. Aria did it, Liaria did it in Lair of the Shadow Broker. Tallis jumped from live action to the game-verse for a dlc adventure.

Which is why I keep such good notes about my Dragon Age runs--I know I'm gonna be rebuilding quite a few of my pretties.
i'm gonna have to be careful about these quests and making sure i do them, cuz otherwise i suspect i might miss out on companions if i don't do a quest. or go to a certain area.
