I have no problem with the size of Cullen's bulge



But in all realism, it probably a cup, considering he does fighting and such.

I've got no issue with the size! Maker's breath, make it whatever size you please! My issue is with the topography. With or without frank and beans, that region has some curvature. It isn't raised as a plane. I fully expect Ken doll gender representation, but I don't expect... I don't even know what to call it. It looks like he shoved his mobile phone down his pants width wise.

 

I'd probably better shut up. People will think I stare at crotches a lot.

Holy Wow... your writing is better than the last two books I've read. Your writing tongue isn't boring and you describe things with a great deal of originality to bring some poetry to even everyday acts... making something as simple as a character giving someone else a "glance" a real window into the back story and character.

 

I could literally see all of the characters from the games in this and each one was perfectly set in their "voice." Also, I like the look of Cullen in that pic with the longer hair... it reminds me of when Norrington falls from grace in PotC, and I like watching characters taken out of their element and forced to adapt to find their way back. I could easily see this as the teaser opening to a theatrical film because it has a great hook and a lot of potential.

Aw, tee hee hee, thank you so much! I've been sitting on this one for SOOOO long now (I think I wrote a first draft of this scene in the Summer of 2011), that I'm both excited and scared to let it see the light of day at last. So thanks for the detailed feedback! It  means a lot. Now to proceed with posting the other 12 chapters I've finished...

To be fair, I must disclose that I'm a major R2 fic fan... If you not yet read any of her works, I highly recommend it! It's truly exceptional. 

 

And with that, I'm taking a fic break for a while. I promise to read each and every one.

 LOL! blood, sweat and tears. Literally  - I stabbed my finger once with the blunt end of the needle. So there is a small bloodstain on his scalp. 

 

It wasn't too difficult once I got started - found some patterns & tutorials online. His face is embroidered and the hair is a wavy wool I found at the craft store tacked down to the head.  I really want to finish up his body so I have a Cullen doll, but am waiting impatiently for a character kit so I get the outfit right.

 

My kids think it's creepy and my husband thinks I've lost my mind.

That was so awesome! At first I thought it was just a funny picture with a little Cullen chibi... But realizing you made the whole thing?!?!?!  OMG!!  Amazing!

Your drawing will be appreciated and lauded with all due ceremony when you post it, whenever that is.

 

The page celebrations are a lot of fun. They're a chance for us to overcome our differences and bond over a common theme. But we're the same people that we were on pages 1 through 999, so there's no reason to think that we won't love your art just as much on page 1047. No art is ever ignored.

Heck, no reason to wait! Share it with us when you can, and we can also add it to Page 1000. Then folks get to experience it twice!

Oh my word. Y'all... I'm so pissed I'm using my iPhone on the day of the 1000. I'll have to wait and read the fics later. The art was beautiful, even looking at it through my busted up iPhone. I'm sure if Greg were to pop by, he would be really touched or creeped out LOL jk but I wish I was as talented as you all! Simply amazing. Oh lord, I love to make stuff, but selling it is a whole other story! I did a side business making custom cakes for years - like the ones on the tv shows - and it's a ton of work and nobody wants to pay you properly. So I stopped for the most part, only doing the odd one here and there now for friends or if it's really interesting. I have friends who do custom crafting - knitting, costumes, etc - and they have the same complaints.

Bramblefae - will be making these soon. I let my shortbread age for a few weeks, and am very interested to see how the pepper intensifies the flavour. I use pepper this way with ginger based cookies as it really bumps up the potency, so I would assume it would do the same with nutmeg. I like spicy cookies 

 

Gigglelam - dreamy! adorable! so cute, you can probably tell I love chibis

 

JerHopp - sensational - so much movement and emotion and Lola, er, the Inquisitor is wild! Love it.
