Is this what they "replaced" Follower Fridays with? Or just extra amazingness?

If they'll be doing any more individual character introductions I hope Cullen is next. I would love to see a character sheet of him (like the ones they gave Varric, Cassandra and Vivienne) so I could wrap my head around that fabulous outfit of his!

Hey just wanted to let you all know that I'm gonna post another fic tonight on AO3. However I wanted to forewarn people that there are mentions of suicide several times throughout, so no one would accidentally be triggered by something they read.

I don't think so, since they didn't release any Alistair pictures or information with it. I think it's just something in the same vein as the Claudia Black and Steve Blum video they had. I wonder when we'll get Greg and Jessica's surprise, since I'm assuming it'll be something similar to this.

Oh lordy, that video  I love love LOVE that his normal talking voice is the exact same as Alistair. I can watch that man for hours.

 

This also makes me believe that we are for sure getting a Greg Ellis vid, like 98% sure. Steve Valentine tweeted about going to record dialogue for DA:I a few weeks before GE announced that he'd be returning as Cullen. Me thinks that we should be seeing his "in the booth" video soon enough!

That's what I'm guessing too! When was it that Steve Valentine tweeted that he was in the studio and took that picture with Jessica? I'm trying to work out how many weeks/months it roughly takes them to edit the videos and put them out so that we can have a rough estimation on when/if they put out one with Greg.

Well twitter says it was 26/03/14 for Steve Valentine, if that helps!

I actually watched it twice.. second time my eyes closed and it was really easy picture Alistair speaking everything XD His and Alistair's voice is exactly same!

So glad to get directions to this thread!  I have found my place of happiness.....

I may actually wait until after Inquisition before I read some of the fanfic just so I don't get a certain expectation in my head and have the game not match.

Here's a notion. Posting on AO3 again reminded me that they have the function to have Collections there. If I created a Cullen Thread Celebration collection, would you guys be interested in putting your fics in it? Might be a nice way to archive the celebrations/challenges for posterity. 

 

Also, if anyone doesn't yet have an AO3 account and wants me, I have some outstanding AO3 invites.

I have the same feeling and that would actually be pretty awesome,I wonder how many characters will get similar videos with their VA commenting on them.

Didn't know about the Steve Valentine video. I'm guessing that thing Greg Ellis mentioned working on with Jessica might end up being something similar.

 

I hope this is what is going to replace that follower Friday thing too. Getting a face plus a voice to go with it would be nice.
