Which bands? Apparently we are well known for our heavy metal Thanks to Lordi I suppose.

 

Also on topic: do we know who is writing Cullen for DAI? I don't recall hearing anything about that.

They haven't revealed who writes him yet,If I remember correctly someone of us asked one of the devs sometime back and they replied that we'll find out eventually or something along these lines.Although as Panda said there's speculation that it was Jennifer Hepler who also wrote him in DA2 before leaving BW.

If our faction leaders are going to be at the ball, do you think that Cullen might just be the military faction leader?  So he'll be at the ball? >.> I haven't been keeping up with the faction stuff tbh, but it's worth being a canon until declared otherwise right? 

To be honest,Cullen hasn't been confirmed to be our faction leader,not even an advisor although there are indications,that point at him having this role.In fact I'd say it's everything but officially confirmed  .Hopefully our advisers/faction leaders will be present at the ball!

True and I think it'd give nice continuity to his character as well. I love what Hepler did with him in DA2

I don't think she would necessarily write him again. I still kinda think Gaider did it cause Cullen would have probly needed a decent rewrite after Hepler left several years ago, so I think David would have tackled that.

I understand that policy, and I think it's a good one, but it's quite a departure from DA2. We knew who wrote everybody in that one.

Yeah Sharon's voice is amazing,I love this band as well!

 

We will probably find out after the game has been out for a little while. 

It's mostly curiosity for me,I would really mind if a different writer wrote a character in the game or compare their writing style etc...But I can see why they are cautious about it.

But at the same time, if I were a writer for the game I'd feel a little disappointed I couldn't brag to the world what and who I wrote. Ah well. I believe so,which is pretty sad actually...I didn't like DA2 Anders much but not because I didn't consider him to be a well-written character,in fact his evolution was impressive and the foreshadowing in Awakening was pretty obvious about it,it was mostly due to his actions.

Still as player/spectator I was impressed with his character arc.I don't know if that  makes any sense,but my point is that is unacceptable to attack a writer because a certain character evolves in a certain way.

I'm sure the DA team won't let us down.  What they've showed of the gameplay so far looks amazing, and they've kept the romance side of things majorly hush hush, but I'm sure everyone's fears will be gone after E3

From what I've heard from the people in here who played Mass Effect,npc romances were not really as fulfilling as the companion ones.
Although it's a different team so we can't say for sure.Besides we don't know what role exactly our advisers play or how heavily involved with the main plot they'll be,or whether they'll be stuck in the keep and interact less with our Inquisitors.I'll miss the banter no doubt, but I'm very optimistic about how they'll handle it.

His senses have improved since DAII?  then again, I'm just taking it as he was so blinded by paranoia after what happened at Kinloch Hold, and he knows he's paranoid, so he just thinks that Hawke is just a warrior and that the spells were cast by Anders (who he still believes to be a Grey Warden).  A long shot, I know, but a girl can have her headcanon ^.^

4.  Dat armour honestly, if his outfit is like that, colours and all, I will literally swoon when we meet him in game.  Damn my being born in Scotland, I need to wait 3 days longer
