Didn't J-Hep (yes, that's how I refer to her; we're cool like that) get a lot of hate because she wrote Anders? I can understand the writers not wanting to reveal who wrote what because some so-called "fans" can be truly vicious. But at the same time, if I were a writer for the game I'd feel a little disappointed I couldn't brag to the world what and who I wrote. Ah well. As Samara's sig says, "This is why we can't have nice things."
I believe so,which is pretty sad actually...I didn't like DA2 Anders much but not because I didn't consider him to be a well-written character,in fact his evolution was impressive and the foreshadowing in Awakening was pretty obvious about it,it was mostly due to his actions.
Still as player/spectator I was impressed with his character arc.I don't know if that makes any sense, but my point is that is unacceptable to attack a writer because a certain character evolves in a certain way.
pretty much what Lorien said, I didnt like DA2 Anders either, and as she said its not because he wasn't well written , cause he def was if he wasn't, I wouldn't feel that many emotions towards him... I guess I just dislike that to me he seemed manipulative with Hawke , and once again as Lorin said, his actions on handling things... it really bothered me that he destroyed the chantry if he had a grudge over the templars why not go for them instead like straight to the source?
I would have gladly help him without any remorse, cause most of the templars in Kirkwall were a bunch of douchebags and abusing the mages, (except for Cullen ofc) but the chantry to me was a big deal considering that it might have had a bunch of innocent ppl that had nothing to do with how the templars treated the mages and possibli even immigrants housed there...
