I hope during some of the scenes at this masquerade ball thingy that there will be sweeping and panning camera shots, especially if there are any dancing scenes with our LI.

... And now I have that dance scene from Beauty and the Beast stuck in my head, lol!

I'm still giddy about the ball announcement , it was high up on my own personal list of what I wanted in the game. And if we do get a Labyrinth/Beauty and the Beast dancing scene I will be so freakin' happy. The Garrus Tango has to be topped! Was it this thread where someone mentioned the possibility of a near-kiss during this mission? Remember in ME1 when they did something like that? Shepard and his/her LI almost kiss but are interrupted by Joker? I'd like to see a return of that, it really adds some nice romantic tension I think.

You can choose to dance and if you so happen to have brought along a companion the Inquisitor has been flirting with, you activate a special scene. You get a slow number and you can choose to move in closer on your reaction wheel, and just when they are just about to kiss something at the party interrupts them. I'd like something like that,  the kind of movie touch that I haven't seen since ME1. I was also a big fan of that moment because it was an example of unspoken attraction between the characters.

There's lots of ways to convey attraction without having to spell it out. Rather than them only talking before the big romantic moments (where they finally show physical affection), how about adding some smaller moments beforehand too? Long gazes, hugging, dancing, accidental hand touches etc All optional of course .

I believe it means that everything that's going into the game is in there. Now it's off for spit and polish, as it were.

The portable drive you bought has USB 3.0 connectivity, as does your Lonovo Yoga, so you're good to go. I figured that with its small internal drive, it would *have* to have high-speed data transfer capabilities, but I went to the Lonovo site anyway to double-check. It does.

 

That seems to be what a lot of the new laptops/ultrabooks are doing: going smaller and lighter by reducing the onboard storage, and it makes sense. External drives allow you a lot more flexibility.

Here's a notion. Posting on AO3 again reminded me that they have the function to have Collections there. If I created a Cullen Thread Celebration collection, would you guys be interested in putting your fics in it? Might be a nice way to archive the celebrations/challenges for posterity. 

 

Also, if anyone doesn't yet have an AO3 account and wants one, I have some outstanding AO3 invites.

No idea ^^; I think pre-alpha was about context still missing so that some parts are just and just playable. Alpha probaply is better version of that somehow but it's not as good as beta so there is still way before it's finished I think.

Alpha = Feature complete (fix bugs & polish, last minute changes)
Beta = Feature & content complete (fix bugs & polish)
Final = Pray to the old gods you guys love the game

Ok morning here again so I can start going through the fanfics now ^^ Awesome art so far I love seeing how everyone sees/ draws Cullen a bit differently but he's still always recognizable as himself.

Okay, then.  I did manage to put together a one-shot Fic involving Cullen.  Please bear in mind, it was very difficult for me to write, mainly because Rion was my Mage playthrough character and I adored her.  But my canon Warden was a Cousland, and that will be the canon I carry through to Inquisition.  That leaves Rion one of those gorgeous characters from Origins who simply didn't survive the more terrible events in the story, sigh.

 

This scene is integral, then, to my Cullen's consideration and experience.  But it's rife with pain and torment.  Wasn't easy to write, not sure it'll be easy to read.  I rated it "M" on FF.net, for the violence of the scene.  So read with caution, if you don't like such shots.
