It would seem I'm an INTP along with Newton,Einstein and Ooh my favourite philosopher Socrates!

“Philosophers,” “architects,” “dreamy professors”… These epithets are most often used to describe the INTP personality type. Forming around 3% of the population, INTPs love theories and believe that everything can be analyzed and improved. They are not that concerned with the real world and practical things; from the INTP’s perspective, it is often less exciting than ideas and intellectual pursuits. People with this personality type have no difficulties noticing patterns where others cannot, which makes them brilliant theorists and analysts.

Lol,yes I do love theories!

Anyone else get INFJ, only because it says that's supposedly one of the more rare personality types. Funnily enough, the personality review is eerily accurate to me. Up to and including how often people assume I'm an outgoing social type, when I'm actually very much an introvert and most comfortable off on my own. I've literally had people insist to me, directly, that there's no way I'm an introvert, and I always respond, "Only goes to show you how sneaky we introverts can really be."

Oh and this, right here, is so me:
"Even though their presence can be described as very quiet, INFJ personalities usually have many strong opinions, especially when it comes to issues they consider really important in life. If an INFJ is fighting for something, this is because they believe in the idea itself, not because of some selfish reasons. INFJ personalities are drawn toward helping those in need: they may rush to the place of a major disaster, participate in rescue efforts, do charity work, etc. INFJs see this as their duty and their purpose in life. People with this personality type firmly believe that nothing else would help the world as much as getting rid of all the tyrants (though preferably in a non-violent way). Karma and similar concepts are very attractive to INFJs."

I was active duty for a time, precisely because I felt compelled to "do my part", hehe. Funny how a brief online review nailed me so well, is all.

I have always identified as INFP, but it's always interesting to see how these things cross over, I also think that description fits me as well.

Oh this is just the exact opposite of me!
"Loathe highly structured environments. INTJ personalities do not respect rules or regulations just because they are there; they need to be confident that those restrictions make sense. Consequently, INTJs strongly dislike environments that are built on blind obedience, traditions, or respect for authority. They are likely to challenge the status quo and clash with people who prefer stability and safety"

I love rules! Rules are good! Rules help control the fun!

I've taken probably a dozen of these types of tests - some in school and one 'professional' one given by someone for their masters in psych - and I always end up INTJ. I'm fine with it. Not like it's telling me anything I don't already know about myself.

That bit you just quoted is me all the way. lol

Apparently I'm an ENFJ... also called "The Giver." I hope that doesn't mean that I have to hold the memories for my community...  <_<

OT: I had a dream last night that I was at some sort of Renaissance Faire except that it was for Dragon Age. Everyone was in Dragon Age garb. I was at a booth where two people were selling what looked like programs and they were dressed like Bethany and Zevran. I bought a program for $18 (not sure how I remember that detail) and it came with a necklace with a pendant that said "Lamppost in Winter" and had an engraving of a lamppost.

One of those dreams I wish was real... Twas awesome...

Hey, there's a lot of fellow INFP's here ^.^ it's scarily accurate for me.  Perhaps without the aptitude for foreign languages, though I never had the opportunity to take one so I guess I wouldn't know. The jobs suggested for me were amazingly accurate to what I have wanted to be over the years aswell.  Hmm, what personality type do you guys think Cullen would be?  He has changed a lot due to his experiences, but I think it's mainly for the better.

Aw, that`s so cute! I want one  ^_^!

Well you might want to do the test that it has though if you have time ^^;: http://www.16personalities.com/free-personality-test

I don't think anyone is exactly their type since every person is different but I find INFJ to have many similar qualities I have XD

I got ISFJ. Seems i have the same personality as Samwise Gangee (LOTR) and Dr. Watson from Sherlock Holmes  :P

I think Cullen is hard since his personality changes from DAO's mage origin to broken circle and DA2. Personally I see him introverted, sensing, thinking or feeling and judging. This would make ISTJ or ISFJ. I think he's definitely ISFJ in DAO's mage origin but changes to more colder and rational ISTJ in DA2. However I don't think he still loses all qualities of ISFJ, I think he's really dutiful but still puts other people above himself and wants to take care of them.

Quoting an earlier post.

A mage having a relationship with a Templar during a mage versus Templar war.

The Romeo and Juliet formula might be getting a little old, but The Mage Inquisitor Cullen could make it work.

That is going to be complicated relationship.

There is Cullen who is on one hand sympathetic towards the plight of mages whilst realising the need to police the mages.

Then there is an Inquisitor who is suspicious about the Templars but also sympathetic towards them.

Forget how they'd fit in society.

How this couple would fit together is far more interesting.

Hmmm... Not a lot of Extroverts on here it seems. I was surprised that I got that designation. Although, the description calls me the "Introverted Extrovert" haha... That makes a lot more sense.  :P

Lol, stranger things have happened.

You could make it stranger.

If the Mage Inquisitor happens to be a blood mage.

I'm not sure how Cullen would deal with this...

An opportunity was missed in Dragon Age Origins.

Alistair was a former Templar. Yet he was pretty indifferent.

Grey Warden is a mage. Doesn't bother him.

Grey Warden uses blood magic. Doesn't bother him.

At least in Dragon Age 2, Fenris acknowledges you being a mage.

If you're a blood mage though, it doesn't change very much. However simply being a mage makes this romance complicated.

If you get into a relationship with Cullen as a blood mage, I'd love to see some complications!

I'd hope he'd be like "oh hell naw!" And get the **** outta there. I think some lines shouldn't be crossed, given his background.

Idk, given that we don't have blood magic as a spec, and we don't know if necromancy necessarily uses blood magic either.

Personally, I think the very least he would do is leave the Inquisitor.  I can't see him forgiving any acts of blood magic, especially after everything he saw both at Kinloch Hold and Kirkwall.  The worst he could do?  Leave the Inquisition, possibly try and kill you, though I don't think I could see him killing someone who he cared about so much.

I heard that Princess Diana also identified as INFP, and people postulate that Shakespeare was one as well. We are often called "The Healers" and "The Dreamers".

LOL I've taken the silly free ones online (*ah, grad school procrastination!*) and formal ones and I always end up an ENFJ. The "Benevolent Pedagogue" is about the most perfect description of me. LOL

Complicated, indeed and initial suspicion from both sides could make it trickier to achieve.I think society now being in the verge of change is not exactly an obstacle for such relationship, especially considering the fact that the Inquisitor possibly a mage in some playthroughs becomes a very powerful figure.I will agree that the only obstacle they have in this case is themselves.

I really like Cullen, flaws and all, but if they make it possible for Cullen to romance a blood mage i will be a bit disappointed cause it would feel out of character for him ( in my opinion). I don`t even think he would develop a friendship with a blood mage.

But i would totally see him romance a mage. (Please let it be possible bioware  =] ).
