I'm pretty sure they won't class lock, though it should be a bit harder for a mage. And I don't think (crossing fingers) that they would race lock him.Not confirmed for both genders and all races and classes though! There's still a lot of uncertainty and trepidation surrounding our dear boy.

You're assuming 8 then? 2 bi, 1 gay, and 1 straight?I'm almost positive he'll be available for all races and classes. And all I can say is if he's straight, Scribbles/Other Female NPC LI better not be gay. Because it's not fair for both NPC romances to take up 2 of 4 romance slots for a FemQuisitor, while all 4 MaleQuisitor LIs are companions.

Oh gotcha. I do think that Scribble will probably bi, and I can see them making Cullen straight.I'm assuming 6, so if you were a MaleQuisitor, straight guy and gay girl won't be available, but straight girl, gay guy and the bisexuals will be.

They didn't do that with Fenris who I'd argue is further along the "anti-mage" path than Cullen has ever been shown to be, so yeah. I agree, it'd be a big shock if they started class locking romances.
Either both Scribe Girl and Cullen will be straight or both will be bi. That's what I think.
There's not justification to make them one or the other since sexuality has no bearing on character, so I can't even begin to guess which it will be.
I also think we will have the 2/2/2 romance split.
The only thing that makes me question my thoughts on the NPC romances is the revelation of Cass and Cullen as LI at the same time. It strikes me as weird to release one straight and one bi companion as the first two LI. So both Cass and Cullen could be straight or could be bi. Seems bi would be the likely candidate since both are very popular. But how odd to announce a companion and NPC as the first two LIs.
I don't think there will be class restrictions, but I think there could be race restrictions on account of how difficult it would be to make a qunari and a dwarf interact physically (even just kissing). Then again, that's also why I think Varric and IB won't be romances.

I agree,I liked romancing Fenris as a mage,in fact I found it more fulfilling than a warrior/rogue romance.
personally I think for a mage it might be harder to romance Cullen but not impossible, like for example ive been in situations where I hated a bunch of ppl just because of how they are and how they act but it doesn't mean that ALL of them were the same until I got to know some of them... at that point I was just generalizing and thought that all of those ppl would be the same but I was proven wrong and im glad for it tbh... altho 85% of the majority of those ppl still is in a disrespectful manner, and most of the Europeans still have a big problem with them but I hope that will be resolved in due time with the right education and the right "treatment"

I'm actually glad that they took it this way. Granted, it does suck for those who won't be able to get who they want with a certain gender Inquisitor.

I think whether you want playersexuality or (equal opportunity) set sexuality depends on your playing style, your personality, and your personal experiences in life.
Now the people who want loads of straight options and like one hot bi chick (hello ME) because they claim that's more like "real life" are shitheads lol
