Well, if you want him to replace Hiddles as the real life Cullen then by all means!

This makes it sound like some sort of contest :P Male actors are fighting over who gets to be Cullen personified!

Gah, where the hell has the time gone?!

I thought I was older when it came out, but it turns out I was 5  this is the same feeling I got when I realised how many years Mean Girls has been out now

I seem to have this really warped sense of time, I'll think something was released a couple of years ago and then I'll look it up and it'll turn out 10+ years old. It's weird.

Didn't do much for me. There was blatantly enough room on that driftwood for both Rose and Jack!

My confession is that I hated Leonardo Dicaprio for the longest time after seeing him in that movie. It wasn't until I saw "What's Eating Gilbert Grape?" that I realised he wasn't just a pretty boy one-trick pony.

I'm with you on both these points! That was one deluxe piece of driftwood :)

I keep referring to things in the nineties as 'a few years ago' I mean, I didn't much enjoy being a teenager, but to forget a whole decade?

As long as the Dragon Age movie/show isn't going the way of Avatar the Last airbender movie I'll be fine :P I mean I'll grumble that the actors aren't who I would have picked, but it will be fine lol

That bothered me as well! Like, come on woman! Move a bit and help him up!

The Potter movies are what gets to me with the age thing. The first one came out 13 years ago! It feels like just yesterday...

Yes Lola dig up, dig up! :D

I've sworn that too but always end up getting more. I remember being so hyped over Sims Medieval and then playing it and going "What the- Kids don't age?! That's not how dynasties work!" The only tempting thing to me about the Sims 4 right now is the character creation, the whole "Sims have moods" seems like it could go either way.
I once made the perfect Cullen in my sims but then our computer had to be formatted and I lost him :(

They age only if their parent dies,so they can replace them in their specialization.Trust me I've tried it...

Help Wanted: A male voice artist to record two lines of dialogue. Sounding like Greg Ellis is a plus, but if that isn't possible, I will take literally anything.

Welp, looks like cinematography is a no go. And I've painted myself into a corner for a key dialogue. The problem is that when you add cinematics to dialogue, it wants a voiceover. If there is no voiceover, it will sit there on that line indefinitely until the player hits escape. Which sucks.

I'm going to try to see if checking "No voiceover for this line" does anything, but if it doesn't, I am going to need to find a male voice actor to record two lines for me. Fortunately, the remainder of the dialogue is voiced by a female, so I can do that part if I have to.

Buuut, there is a silver lining. I've tested the mod all the way through to the next-to-last dialogue, and everything works.

I hadn't even thought about those! Even the earlier books feel recent, I can't have been 9 when that first movie happened, surely :( :( and I only re-read them (again) recently...

By the might of the Maker, your taunts hold no power over me!

Come, Hawke, fight with me! We can defeat this evil together!

(I never said they were epic lines. They were never intended to be said aloud, so if they sounded a little corny, that was okay. If you wanted to change the second line to something less ridiculous, that would work, too. "Fight with me, Hawke! This evil ends here!" sounds good. If the VA prefers something else, that's OK too)

Damn, I was thinking maybe I could rip some audio out of his files and re-shuffle them about like Nikki and myself done for the 4000 page celebration thingy we made.

I know someone who does voice acting, I can pm  (if I find out how!) you a video of his earlier work if you want. He has a pretty good range and will work for free on small scale stuff. He has a good quality microphone and can produce clear sound files.

Hey, that could work!

That could definitely work! Changing the dialogue in the toolset is the easy part. If you find something - anything - that sounds defiant and righteous, I can use it.

Use your judgment. I can always change things on my end.

Maybe one day you could explain how to rip audio out of his files. I'd really like him to have a real soundset.

Or that would be cool, too! Make sure you read the part about changing the lines if the VA think rephrasing would help. The script isn't gospel, nor is my writing all that and a bag of chips.

What you'd need for defiant and righteous would be his battle cries from The Darkspawn Chronicles dlc, although I haven't worked out how to rip those out yet. Lemme see if I can find some on tumblr as an example.
