Now I regret being so indifferent to this movie. Did anyone manage to find Greg Ellis in Beowulf? I can't watch it without giggling hysterically, so I missed him I think.

Oh I found video in youtube about Wynne revealing Gregoir and other templars that you are blood mage after broken circle. If you don't persuade them that you were using just some spooky grey warden magic or that Wynne was seeing wrong they will confront you and try to kill you. You have to kill all templars in the hall including Cullen D: So even Cullen can die in DAO! Glad that he has plot armor

Oh really? : ( Damn I got fooled! I think it'd be really nice and real scene for blood mage though, to really show reactions to blood magic instead of just characters not noticing it.

That what I was thinking too. I found DA:O's characters much more satisfying.

 

Agreed, but I think that's mainly down to the fact that we could actually have conversations with them beyond what their current plight was.

 

Wow, I'm so behind in the thread. Did something happen? Anyway, I know the above is the general consensus, but I think it more comes down to which you played first and who you romanced. So for me the DA2 characters were more intriguing than the DA:O characters. DA:O tended to be full of tropes... the sexy sorceress, the oaf of a dwarf, the wise old mage, etc. DA2 folks felt like real people with real issues. That's not to say I don't love the DA:O guys; I do (well, some of them... can't stand Oghren and not a fan of Shale... all the inside "I'm really a girl!" jokes got on my nerves).

I'll start rehearsing my shameful tank song just in case he can be a companion. He probably won't be, but it's better to be prepared just in case.
