I'm hoping he'll have quite a dry wit to him in DAI.
Oh back to this. I think I kind of want him to be clueless when it comes to humor/sarcasm. For some reason I see him as a very serious guy, the type who will just stare blankly at you when you try to crack a joke. Not saying I want him to just be a blank block of wood lol I think he does have a very solid personality; he's quick to get in little jabs at people when he disapproves (for example, referring to gossipy recruits as women in a weaving circle), but overall he seems rather humorless.

I would've thought that initially too, but that seems to be what Cassandra is like if that concept art is anything to go by with "Sera" doing the fisting joke. The devs said that their personalities all came through in that piece. It's not impossible for them to have two people like that, but I dunno if they'd want what's perceived as two of the same?
That's our General. So I call him Cullen-in-disguise. Imagine that: you are crowned, and stuff, and Cassandra brings you to the Skyhold, and begins the introductions. "This is Leliana, she a good kisser, I mean, a good bard. She does sneaky stuff. That is Miss Scribbles, she scribbles. And trades with people. And this is our General. Cullen, wtf is that? Fake moustache and a wig? Seriously?" Cullen takes that off, and ta-da - he's our handsome Cullen! And he says, "I grew really tired of people asking me if I'm too young to be a general." And that's when it all fades to black, because Inquisitor faints, because too hot.

I don't see him as a humorist either,in my opinion witty, sophisticated sarcasm on the other hand might be more his style, when the occasion demands it.

Damn it, Cassandra! lol That's totally not fair; Cullen came first, and he's far more developed! How dare she steal his personality! Well, with Cass, I'm thinking maybe she GETS the joke, she just doesn't approve. Isn't she technically a princess? Highborn, I mean. Maybe she isn't comfortable slumming it (in a social sense... she's obviously a soldier at heart and can get dirty in the blood and mud with the best of 'em).
So it would be sort of like...
Sera: [Tells dirty joke]
Cass: But--!! That's... disgusting!
Cullen: What, I... oh... *doesn't get it but doesn't want to admit it*

I must admit that would probably be the most hilarious introduction scene in history of thedas!

Hmm, the woman on the left IS wearing blue and gold. Not Scribe Girl, but same colors/outfit. The man is blond, and the woman on the right is a redhead.
Purposefully different-looking placeholders so as not to spoil us on our advisers?!?!?!

I'm with you on this one. Was wondering the same thing.
When was this specific screen released to us? I don't remember. Was it prior to confirming Cullen and the trailer?
I could see both Gaspard and Celene giving aid (in some form) to the inquisition, vying for support until the point at which the Inquisitor decides who will rule orlais (cuz we all know that's probably going to happen).

I can see that happening at a ball
*cough* I choose Celene *cough*
I just went through Scroll's video and wrote down the times for everything. Because what is dissertation productivity?

This is what I needed! Well, this, Google, and Dragon Age Nexus search function.
There is a mod out, Redefine Your Hero Voice, that allows you to set the voice of your hero to any of the standard soundsets (including Cullen's). It comes with a console command that lets you call up the line at will. I can use this to make Cullen (or any other character) say his line just use a microphone to record it. It won't be perfect, but it will be better than beating my head against this for the next six months.
As an added bonus, this mod will enable me to reverse the unfortunate choices I made during character creation of a few characters.
I am forever in your debt. So, that's you, Lola, and JediBeagle who need credit for helping when it's time to write the readme!

Yes probably,I'd like to have to option not to meddle in the war,but it seems rather unlikely at this point.

I really hope this is not the case; I just don't want to my quizzy to be the one to make massive state decisions like this. I mean, what does some Dalish hunter know or care about Orlesian politics? Sure, he can choose to support one or the other, but decide who's on the throne? I'm worried the writers listened too much to the DA2 haters and are moving away from the Hawke type anti-hero to the more traditional "I AM THE SPECIAL SNOWFLAKE/GOD OF THEDAS" Warden type character who makes all major state decisions and is just in general the most badass person to ever walk the planet lol

Well, they're giving us a "emotion" wheel so in theory we can at least break some of that special snowflake-ness by having them cry or fly off the handle when something goes wrong. I'd like to see the protagonist suffering a bit when things start to go really wrong (like after the big bad attacks our skyhold) kinda like Shepard did in ME3 when everything went wrong... except on a grander scale because I felt that it could've been dragged out a bit longer than one scene.

You're right; I love how Shep started to break down in ME3; this was even more poignant when I played the previous two games and realized there was such a difference in how confident he (mine's a dude lol) was when compared to the latter half of ME3. I mean even in ME3 I could see him getting frustrated with the leadership and just displaying less confidence and bravado. Of course Shep's responses were also scripted, so if you WANTED to play a calm and cool Shep you really couldn't; s/he was written like that no matter what. So I think/hope you're right about the emotion wheel; that does sound pretty cool!
