I'm here, I'm just kind of lurking, lately. Might post if something good pops up for Inquisition news, though.

What does he say in camp when you make a last ditch attempt to get them back together? (Obviously he says no, but what are his exact words? Is he sad?)

 

I can't remember exactly (repressed memories!), but I think it was along the same lines after the landsmeet.  The whole '"it's my duty".  Though I think he said something along the lines of "can we stop talking about this because it hurts too much and I can't go back on my decision now."  That's not the exact words though, I'll see if I can find a youtube video of it.  He's definitely extremely sad though

I could. I suppose I could figure out how to isolate the audio. I've never done much video processing, but I *think* it's possible, right? Although... there is definitely a way to convert MP4 to MP3 audio only, so it's probably easier than I think.

if you have camtasia  (or Adobe after effects) you can extract the audio from the video and then convert it into an MP3 if you want

I'd love to see a scene like that where he/she just breakdowns when they've got 5 minutes of alone time to themself.

 

I'd also like to see a scene where the Inquisitor is standing out on the balcony of his/her room staring off into the distance looking pensive (maybe with a few audio flashbacks of people who have died saying stuff etc) and then the love interest comes out to join her/him and from behind puts his/her arms around our character, nuzzles her/his neck and asks if she/he is ok, to which we can reply accordingly and have some sort of heart to heart and voice what's on our mind.

 

My god, I hate having to do the him/her he/she his/hers thing it ruins the flow of what I'm trying to say, LOL!

Yeah...if you could just go ahead and work for Bioware...that'd be great.

Seeing that picture makes me hope that he ditches the heavy armor for some of our romance scenes. Having him touch out Inquisitor's face or pull him/her in close is gonna look kinda weird if he's got those big ol' gloves on... as would any potential sexy time scene before he's undressed, LOL!

Huh, that is so interesting. I didn't know that the Grey Wardens only have one mage at a time. I wonder if that's still true.

Fiona is a grey warden and a mage, and then the mage warden comes along.  Is Fiona still a grey warden at that point?  I honestly don't know because it's been awhile since I read them, and Ive been burying myself in fan fiction, which isnt always true to what David Gaider and those guys have written

Oh Maker, that man is utter perfection.

 

I honestly don't think any other romance option in any game past, present or future will ever top Alistair's romance arc for me.

I think I'd have more saves like that if it weren't for the fact that the game doesn't consider the romance ever happened in the import or epilogue. The Keep might change that, and if Alistair has a major part to play in Inquisition, it could be brought up, but who knows, (other than maybe Socks and Lola, lucky, Keep beta testing...)

What if he meets the Warden for the first time in a long while and they never sorted their feels out? Drama llamas awwaaay! I'd probably cry out at my screen. It would be this relief from him to know that she's alive, but awkward because of his feelings and not knowing if she's moved on in the time. And the same could be from her. Ooh I need to stop now.

I'm going to need to move my computer to a room away from people for this game.

Hmm, good point. I guess she isn't really one anymore... which is why she runs the the Circle of Magi, I suppose. And, that predates DA:O... so I guess the GWs could have been looking for another mage when they found Amell/Surana??  Hmmm...

I have to admit, I was SO angry with him at that point, though if I had carried on with that playthrough I probably would still have tried to convince him to sleep with Morrigan (can you still convince him to do that after you've broken up with him?).  Honestly, I was almost in tears because I hadn't expected it.  And there Wynn was telling Seliana (my warden) not to break his heart.  

 

And he is.  As is Steve Valentine.  I swear, they MUST have based Alistair's eye colour on Steve's.  Eurgh, his wife is a lucky woman.  

 

I'm hoping Cullen's matches it though.  It depends on how they go about it seen as he's most likely an NPC, but if it makes me cry with joy (Alistair was actually the first to make me cry like that.  Gaider what have you done to me?!) then I'll be flippin' ecstatic haha.

Derp! Right. Well, sounds like it's probably not canon since it's a deleted scene. Or perhaps the rules change when you're repopulating a completely decimated branch of the Grey Wardens??

Nope. It's never too soon to brain storm one, altho I think we have some time  before we pick one.

At this point I'm pretty sure Gaider collects tears in a series of jars for each game, that's his rating system.

I think this is explained in WoT. The Circles of Magi are required by law to supply one talented mage child to the Grey Wardens so that they may be inducted into the Order. But the Wardens can recruit additional mages if need be.

Aw, i like this  . I`d really like that the LI could comfort our PC throughout the game, embrace him/her and show some support\care. It would be nice to see more of their relationship besides the war and the fightings. Something more to fight for. For example, It felt strange in ME3, specially after Thessia fall, that no one comes to comfort Shepard.

we do have quite a bit of time indeed... but considering how fast this thread goes it would be nice to have something to go by , even if we seem to be too far off... idk about anyone else but for me it would give me quite a bit of time to work on it... as I am a bit slow...
