That's our General. So I call him Cullen-in-disguise. Imagine that: you are crowned, and stuff, and Cassandra brings you to the Skyhold, and begins the introductions. "This is Leliana, she a good kisser, I mean, a good bard. She does sneaky stuff. That is Miss Scribbles, she scribbles. And trades with people. And this is our General. Cullen, wtf is that? Fake moustache and a wig? Seriously?" Cullen takes that off, and ta-da - he's our handsome Cullen! And he says, "I grew really tired of people asking me if I'm too young to be a general." And that's when it all fades to black, because Inquisitor faints, because too hot.

I really hope that's not Cullen. That dude is ugly, lol, it better be a disguise if it is him! Because I'll be really, REALLY disappointed if he's grown an outrageous mustache and for some reason braided his out of the blue long hair :/

So moral code eh? I think he's very duty-bound and is very faithful to chantry, templars and Andraste. However he has also high morals that sometimes conflict with what he's ordered to do. In my opinion he likes peaceful solutions rather than violent one's. He wants to protect both mages and people from them. I think that's about it for his moral code ^^

Lol, I can't believe how many people consider the possibility of him looking like that after a trailer, where we saw his in game model Don't worry, these pictures were probably just placeholders, used to avoid spoilers. Or maybe that dude is our General, but Cullen is his boss, or maybe Cullen is outside of the whole military structure, and indeed works only as an advisor, because he knows some important things nobody else does. We'll see soon enough. Less than 2 weeks for E3. And with my job it will be like tomorrow. Lol, time went crazy, I don't understand it, half a year ago feels like yesterday.

Sarcastic Cullen  awesome

 

I imagine Cullen as someone who is basically serious but will occasionally let out a sarcastic little zinger, and everyone is startled and wondering, "Did Cullen just say that?"

 

I do think he has a sense of humor and isn't always somber and proper, but I think you'd have to get to know him to really see that side of him.

 

I'm hoping that they'll at least leave our background/origin ambiguous enough that we can headcanon what we want in there. I mean, sure my family heritage might be important BUT I'm not living it up as a noble because *insert headcanon*

 

Me too. I'd like a bit more of a blank slate to create my own character.

 

That said, if my personal story and the official story conflict, I have no issue fudging details or just flat out choosing my own version.

 

This, but not so much at the power thing, more at the coming out of the Fade alive thing, (depending on how its handled and what actually happens, obviously). My first three Inquisitors would definitely be quite worried by the Fade Hand and worried they'd been possessed. I'd like to have so e option to worry about it openly rather than just internally/headcononally.

 

Yeah, my Inquisitor will be pretty terrified of the whole Fade thing, especially being literally marked by the experience. I hope we have options besides complete stoicism taking that in stride. She'll learn to live with it, but I think some fear and panic would have to happen first.

Hmm, I wonder what sort of thing Cullen would give to Quizzy?  I would wonder about the other characters, but I don't know enough about them yet.  

 

I could see him going down the romantic and/or the practical route.  Like, he doesn't know what to give the inquisitor, so he gets him/her something like a personalised whetstone for their sword/daggers or something for their staff.  

I might actually be working on some Cullen fan art with this (gift) theme...

Maybe he is a sucky adviser and you fire him and hire Cullen? Maybe he's a placeholder for the military adviser position so that the devs can finish Cullen's model? Cullen in disguise? Hmm. Why would he need to be in disguise? Hmmm......  All I know is that if Cullen is going to have any disguises, those disguises are all going to stay in the bedroom.

That's funny considering in DA2 there is a "disguise" for your lovah to make them look like Cullen, haha! He will be himself in my game. No disguises, just super hot Cullen. Especially in the bedroom
