Now I'm really wishing the Fade actually worked like this.
We've seen people caught up in blissful dreams, but I don't recall anything along the lines of being confronted with one's self.

That is true. But from the sounds of it, unless that place has a magical barrier, it more than likely went boom when the fade tears opened. 
the gauntlet always reminded me of Indiana Jones & the Last Crusade.
The new and improved fade looks wonderful - dark and creepy and moist (ew!). I HATED the fade in Origins, despite loving mazes in general. I hope this time it's less tedious and less brown.

Oh, the Fade is dark and full of terrors! Though I kinda miss that hazy out of focus effect of DAO
oh maker, or maybe we're at the conference w/ a friend/fam/loved one and they are the ones that push us into the Fade. maybe just to get us out of the blast. Then we'd have our dead..friend/fam/loved one thing going on.

i'm happy that it looks properly foreboding. and there's gonna be crazy stuff all over. but as long as they have sum choice loot up in there, I'm down for it!

Lol at Isabela. Poor thing having to romp thru the Fade now. I remember taking down into the Deep Roads in Legacy. After a particularly difficult fight, I clicked on her, and she said, "Next time you ask me if I wanna help you out w/something, I'm gonna say Nooooo."

I agree,besides what would be a better way to take advantage of the new weather system,than to have heart to heart moments and important dramatic cut-scenes taking place outdoors.Hopefully our advisers won't be stuck in the keep all of the time...I'd like them to play a slightly more active role,even without being available party members.

well I've never read the comics, so I'm going on pure imagination here.
was thinking how angsty and interesting it would be to meet/rescue Cullen from the Fade at some point.
