well I've never read the comics, so I'm going on pure imagination here.

 

was thinking how angsty and interesting it would be to meet/rescue Cullen from the Fade at some point.

 

I kind of sort of very much hope that's the exact way it goes. :3

I actually WANT to explore it in this game. It looks so cool!!! DA2's brief quest into the fade was fun, but the environment was eh. Origins made me feel suffocated (but I think it meant to do that), but Inquisition's fade looks AMAZING!!!

I would have liked the Fade better in Origins if it hadn't made me retrace my steps so many times! I like what I'm seeing from Inquisition - less constricted and a lot spookier.

It makes me think if spirits and demons have quaint little towns by fade rivers with fade cows in fade fields eating fade grass.

I actually enjoyed Justice's character more in DA:A than Anders which makes Anders and Justice combo feeling little different to me than to most people I think.. I haven't seen many Justice lovers around ^^; I think they are both very tragic together and they have really different personalities which changed Anders a lot, however I see DA2's Anders better than DA:A, he's more complex, more caring and has purpose in life, I'm just sad how it turns out in the end and how Justice starts turning Vengeance. I'd love to see them seperated, maybe Justice could be more of himself too.. or then he'd be Vengeance-demon which would be sad.

Granted, I think there are already some very upper level demons traipsing about Thedas already, before the Tear, manipulating events, and have been doing so for centuries. If you have read TME, you'll understand what I mean. But I could see some demons leaving the tear to possess people in power throughout Thedas, for their own sort of demonic coup.

 Mmmm, I have questions about this (now that I'm done!! woooot!).

How the heck can Ishmael just walk around before he inhabits Mirhis/whatever Dalish girls's name is? Why does he need a host if he can just cruise??

 

the gauntlet always reminded me of Indiana Jones & the Last Crusade.

I don't think he'd be very happy with it, I think he'd just be very alert all the time and maybe little paranoid too? I'd imagine his PSTD to be kicking in, in situation like that.

yeah, idk. idk what they're doing. but maybe we simply get more investigate, and opportunities to just talk them options which--if we want--can turn into the usual amount of romance content.

I suspect we're gonna end up w/2 LI options for a particular PT. And that overall we'll be able to investigate more in a friendship way. So, that the friend path isn't gimped in content and getting to know stuff. Then we can prolly kick it in to romance drive if we want.

 

What I hope is that it isn't just "bang, bang, soda pop!" , and the romance dialogue is over. I mean, I would like a bit more romance-y scenes here and there, or bits of dialogue, after we do the deed, too.

 

I'm also worried abt being locked out of a potential romance if I don't necessarily jump when the heart icon pops up. Cuz I never know. Was that it? That was my only chance to romance them?

 

At least w/DAO I had the option to tell Alistair "Maybe later", and I could still continue the romance arc. I was up to my eyeballs in Orzammar stuffs, but I had to run back to camp real quick cuz...I forgot my lucky dagger, or something. Next thing I know--cutscene w/Alistatir all like, "Heeeyy, gurl. How you doin'?" *eyebrow waggling ensues*.

 

I though oh, lord. I love you, Alistair, but we got shyte to do right now." Mind you, I think I got like -10 disapproval cuz of that. But we worked it out...in the end.

 

But in DA2 I could not say maybe later. Just say no and it was locked out. It felt like they needed the romances to happen at a specific time in the story, or something. Whereas DAO had a bit more of a meandering to path to glory--yaknowwatimean.
