Perhaps. The Veil is shredding, that's a given, which should bring about the Rise of Dragons, as Yavana had mentioned. Perhaps the dragons are a symptom of the Fade/Veil, and with the Veil falling, the Dragons returning at the beginning of the Age heralds what is to come in 9:40.

Which of course dovetails nicely with my Old Gods are the Maker's First Children, i.e. spirits and Fade Denizens, so bustin' out through the Veil. LOL Ah, who knows.

 

I just want to have a weird misunderstanding scene with Cullen, like steamy make out or heartbreaking fight, and find out it's because he wasn't real. I'd find it a lot more plausible if that kind of scenario happened in the real world and not when, "OH LOOk! we're in the Fade! Again, I might add."

True, but man I can't see them overruling him on something like that. SWTOR took lots of sh!t for that gay planet. People now hold BW to a higher standard.

If they decide to try a 2/2/2 situation and the lesbian is too hot for the straight males in the focus group to ignore, I could see them making the lesbian bi to appease the boys (which would skew the balance to 1/3/2), but everyone will still have multiple choices. I'd like to think that something like that would never, ever happen, but I can see how it would.

This is why I've been trying to find out exactly when TME ends,  before or after end of Asunder, but neither PWeekes or BGelinas have answered me yet. My sense is that ...

TME ends around when Pharamond dies, which is the first snow. So that still puts quite a bit of action after it... enough time to make it to Andoral's Reach and the Knight Comm's to come to Val Royeaux.

Some of the landscapes have been seasonal. There's snow in the Frostbacks, but pumpkins in the Arl of Denerim's estates. Denerim's alienage has fine autumn cabbages, as do some of the random encounter areas... but Lothering has high summer hay. The Brecilian forest has a definite summer feel to it, with the abundant greenery and the plentiful water in the streams. Or maybe it was just random artistic whim.

Every player should have their own reality with the romance options. I don't see what's wrong with that when they're such a progressive company with the capability to do so.

You mean, they've retconned the fact that Asunder begins in 9:38, but ends in 9:40, so the book makes it look like it took Lambert 2 years to react? Yes, that part was making no sense, I thought there was a typo somewhere.

LOL! Yeah, WoT puts the big events from the book all in 9:40. 

 

In tracking every date mention with annoying detail, I think the only things that were wrong were the (multiple!) mentions of Anders doing  his thing in Kirkwall "a year ago." Every other date syncs with it being around 9:40.

Oh, but I did want to pick up on Galagraphia's questions upthread a bit. About how the demons might feel abt the Fade tear. I don;t think the Breach will cause them to lose their demon-y powers. Annnnd I'm guessing their happy to finally get thru the Fade. And try and kick our azz. You know cuz they be hatin' ....and tryin' to catch us rollin' dirty...ahem.

 

At any rate they essentially envious of mortals cuz we have that divine creative spark within us. Then when they tried to see what all the uproar was abt, they saw all the dark parts, too. altho, nobody ever promised that carrying that creative spark stuff would be easy.

 

So, now they're being judgey, while still hatin' and being envious. Technically, they would be rather like our older siblings. That the Maker turned aside cuz......raisins? That seemed pretty harsh to me. Through no fault of their own, the Maker just tossed them aside, His First Children.

 

So, now they want to eat us. Where and how the Old Gods fit into all this.......they were not a part of the Creator's plan (assuming that "Creator" and Maker are one and the same. And apparently the Old Gods were not "created"...by the Maker? I think.
