Except he's darkspawn, not a demon. And plus, he's probably trying to control the Grey Wardens, hence his body hopping leaders of the Order.

SO... I guess I never really thought about it before. How the heck did he do that??  He's not a demon. Mages don't possess people. I guess the Archdemon's tainted soul body hops... but I didn't think darkspawn could generally do that. Soo....?

Aww, not even mages can manipulate the fade? There goes my fluffy little head-not-quite-canon about Amell making nicer dreams for Cullen.

I think Cory is similar to Archdemons, in that he can move through the Taint, and therefore can possess GWs

It's just so mundane though. I agree the Red Templars are a part of this, but I think there are far more powerful forces at work.

But man... this red lyrium is everywhere. One one hand... blue lyrium was also everywhere in the Fade in DA:O, so maybe it makes sense the red would be there, too...? Maybe?

I believe that's what the somniari can do, but not your typical mage. So, Feynriel can. I think the difference for mages is that they can go to the Fade conscious, whereas muggles can't (unless you're a special snowflake like us...).

I wonder if it would be possible to close, or somehow destroy the fade, then Im assuming  that mages would lose their powers and become "normal ppl"  and then ppl  wouldn't have to be scared/ worried of ppl being possessed by demons anymore

Perhaps the raising of the Veil is what took the Gift from the majority of people and all of the dwarves.
