lol speaking of grenades n stuff it reminded my of that song from Bruno Mars but in a more  "dragonage" version would be nice if Cullen were to sing a song similar to that

I don't really think of it as, oh, the singer is singing to ME, cause yeah, that's way over the top LOL But if I imagine that he's singing to some other girl or guy, then suddenly it's romantic

As a non-fan, I'm curious how Cullen is going to change my perceptions of him... I'm going to seperate my Inquisitor from Hawke, but it's still hard to ignore that this was the same guy who shows up after Act 1 to lock up Bethany. And then acts smug the rest of the game.
 
My Inquisitor may not know him, but I -the player- do. I'll try not to be biased, but I'm curious if he's evolved since then. If he hasn't, I don't see things going well for him.

I never get any steamy ones, which is irritating! The last DAI dream I had was the one where Cullen tracks down Greagoir to see if he'd rebelled with the rebel Templars (he hadn't), and then the pair of them got attacked by demons and I had to run in and help them, lol.

Aww, this gave me feels. I've always thought Greagoir was like father to Cullen, little Cullen in Origins wanted to be Greagoir when he grows up Imagine the drama if Greagoir went to the peace gathering with the team Chantry, and was killed too

I'm not sure if your opinion can be changed. I doubt Cullen has changed a lot from DA2 to DAI, however he probaply has PTSD better under control and I'd imagine he'd starting to see as much problems in templar order than he sees in mages, both sides are very flawed and corrupted in DA2. Hopefully he will want to change templar order for better which would benefits mages a lot too. What comes him taking Bethany to circle, well that's his job and I doubt his views on need to watch over mages and bring them in circles will change even in DAI.

To be honest, I was glad it was Cullen who came to pick Bethany. Because I could be sure he wouldn't harm or humiliate her. Besides, I think she was happy in the Circle. She finally didn't have to hide who she was, she could use her talents, and she was around people like her, instead of feeling like a freak - the only mage child in the family! She could have a career too! She found ways to express herself, and she quickly gained reputation and respect in the Circle, so that she was even allowed to travel sometimes. And she was still close to her family, her mother could visit her in the Gallows. Circle in Kirkwall was far from perfect, but it turned out to be perfect for Bethany, because, although it may sound paradoxical, becoming a Circle mage liberated her. It was still a loss to Hawke, however, so I respect it if you were mad about it

 

Cullen will certainly change. You just can't believe in the same values anymore after what happened. You could actually see him changing throughout DAII, but who he will be in DAI is difficult to predict for me. I hope he'll stay sane at least

What does it mean to pierce the Veil, that which separates our world from the realm of dreams and demons? For the average man and woman, it is a frightening thought to consider just how fragile this separation actually is. The Veil is not a physical curtain, not a structure limited to a particular place—it is everywhere. It is in their home, in the streets where they walk, in farmers' fields as well as remote mountain vales. At any moment it could be torn to shreds, allowing demons and other horrors to flood into our world like water through a burst dam. Known lore tells us that small rifts can be sealed... but what about a large one? What if some catastrophic magical event created a rift so large and horrific, it weakened the integrity of the Veil as a whole? Such a "breach" would threaten our entire world, turning concerns about occasional demonic intrusion into a charming anecdote compared to the monsters we would then face. If there is anything to be done, any reason we should look at magic with fear, it is for that possibility more than any other.

I am so glad to see more and new (to us, anyway) demons. They are, however, horrifying.

So glad those demons actually have names now. But what's the real difference between a fear and nightmare demon? Nightmare just sounds more niche-ier. Or if it was a Pokémon, the evolved form of a fear demon.
