No I like him bald too - just thought he might suffer from hair envy, and I hate to see my friends suffer

*Solas watches owl-like, no expression on his face* Sitting next to him, Sera starts breaking into unladylike guffaws of laughter.*

 

Vivienne: *narrows eyes at Cullen*shoots look at Solas and then back again at Cullen* Indeed. This is an unpleasant surprise. 

 

Cullen: Unpleasant??  My hair?  How did this happen? *shoots daggers at all around campfire*sputters incoherently while grabbing mirror and gaping at large poof of curly hair standing out in a halo around his head*

 

Vivienne: *stands up and brushes invisible specks of dirt from the front of her dress* It seems you are not vigilant with your water canteen, templar. See to it. *she glares at Solas* Others are far more careful. 

 

Solas: *gives Vivienne small smile*without breaking eye contact with VIvienne, raises hand to Sera, who gives him a high five before she collapses to the ground in stiches*

 

(best I could do on short notice...)

THIS MUST HAPPEN. Haha, I hope Solas is like this in game.

I've been watching too many horror movies and now all I can think of is Solas shaving off Cullen's hair and making it into a wig he can wear.

 

Cullen wakes up to find Solas with a full head of......very familiar hair.

Still trying to play catch up on here but i thought i would do this too.

 

 

1. When did you first meet Cullen (e.g. as Amell/Surana, in the Broken Circle quest, or in DAII)? I first met Cullen in the Broken Circle quest. I never played as a mage, but my husband did so I got to see him melt and run away but that was after i beat the game twice.
2. What was your first impression of Cullen? I wanted to kill him. I have always been pro mage and I thought he was some crazy dude that needed a good fist to the face, but it was funny I failed that quest so bad the first time the templars were on my side anyways, and then at the end of the game when they mention Cullen i was like whos Cullen? XD
3. When did your impression of Cullen change (if ever)? When my husband played as a female Amell and I saw his reaction to her and i was awwwwwww what a cutie and then when I heard his confession to her in the broken circle i kind of felt bad for wanting to kill him but the big changer for me was reading this fanfiction that i accidentally stumbled on called what we become or what we were, something like that and then I was daaammmnn okay Cullen sounds pretty cool.

I was thinking of Interview With The Vampire and thought Viv altered Cullen's hair tonic and now it grows twice as long as it was before so his usual trim made it go all crazy. Thinking he knows the answer, and has it all shaved after the initial mishap, it grows back past his shoulders next time. So he has to give up and live with long hair until the magic wears off.

 

Varric: "Can't you just... nullify it or something, floppy top?"

 

Cullen: *Blinks* Did he just...? "Er, no... it's part of my person. Templar talents can't be self-inflicted. Another knight would have to do it."

 

Solas: "There's a keep full of them across from the palace." *snicker*

 

Vivenne: "They all use the red lyrium. It's far more likely his hair would become prehensile as a result of exposure to that foul magic."

 

Varric: "Kind of like a Medusa?"

 

Cullen: *horrorstruck* "Andraste's Blood! NO!" *wanders away, mumbling about raiding Varric's stuff for leather strips to tie his hair*

So far a lot of fanart I've seen gives him a shaved instead of bald head. I hope to god they go with that!

I saw this on Examiner.com and thought I'd share:

 

Think of each type of romance in Dragon Age: Inquisition as a different kind of movie with every possible way that the love can unfold in the game is like a different genre. Depending upon how players choose to interact with different love interests, they may see the story unfold like a pure love story, a romantic comedy, or even somewhat like a buddy action movie. Of course, should fans not want to romance anyone, the option remains to fully skip the romance system.

 

I'm thinking that Cullen's might be the 'pure love story' (although as shy as he is, we may get the 'romantic comedy' story line) but I wouldn't say 'no' to a bromantic 'buddy action movie'!

Not really... he could be just for female inquisitors  AND when asked the response was that we'd have to wait until the game ships to find out. Ugh.

Nah, just think of it this way: either a Templar!warden slowly lost the Templar abilities or became addicted to lyrium.

Actually, mages can become addicted to lyrium too. Someone in Thedas needs to set up a support group.

My mage Warden was popping lyrium potions like they were tictacs. Looks like the Hero of Ferelden will recover from the Blight in rehab.

Good list! Beardy would also be a... useful... reveal. It would tell us Cullen's not a companion. Well, kind of? Only alternative would be for Cullen to be a rogue or for there to have been miscommunication regarding the 3/3/3 split.
