I would assume multiple locations within the countries (for example, Redcliffe, Orzammar, etc.)

That was weird as hell! He tweeted that after I was talking on the podcast/DnD about how I was gonna romance Cullen first in case his romance was lacking compared to the companions, lol.

So, I finally finished reading The Masked Empire. The thing I loved absolutely the most about it was how well the secondary characters were developed.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, my absolute favorite characters were Michel and Felassan. More surprisingly (at least to me), another favorite was Gaspard! At the beginning of the book, I kept expecting him to twirl his mustache at least once, but he wound up having a lot more depth than I thought he would. By the end, I liked him a great deal more than I liked either Celene or (don't hurt me) Briala.

 

Oh my goodness, you said exactly what I thought as I finished the book, too!  I was actually caught off-guard by how much I liked Gaspard, certain I'd walk away with a good idea what I'd do when the time came to make a decision one way or the other between the two of them in-game.  But then I sat there, thinking to myself, "Well, heck.  Now who am I going to support when I have to support one of them?  Dang you, Celene!"  Honestly, I thought the book was amazing, and I so want to meet Michel!

 

Does anyone else suspect that Felassan is, in fact, our very own Solas?  Perhaps?
