I'm getting tired of new location reveals tbh like SHOW US SOMETHING ELSE ALREADY.

 

I want some of the new locations to still be a surprise when I play the game.

The weird eel stew from the Fires Above war table is STILL on the War Table in the gameplay trailer.

I actually think they've shown alot of the same locations. I'm sure there's plenty of things we haven't seen yet.

So one more thing I've been pondering. From the early Game Informer coverage and Fires Above trailer, it seemed that these scenes are all at the same place, all using that weird skull like flag. 

 

 

 

This also seems to be Crestwood, since this flag is also present at the docks where the Red Templar boats show up in last year's PAX demo and where the underwater Fade rift appears. 

 

 

 

I just noticed for the first time that this pic is also Crestwood, with the underwater rift on the right, and the original "mysterious" owl keep from the Fires Above trailer on the left

Suggesting that the Keep we're trying to protect from the Red Templars during the demo is perhaps this keep? 

Correct me if im wrong (i don't have the WOT book or anything) but those skull flags look a lot like Qunari skulls cause they have horns n stuff .. and now for the silly assumptions.. does that mean that qunari ppl are pirates?

LOL I have no idea. One thing to keep in mind is that, altho that one big flag is with Iron Bull from Fires Above, that scene was mentioned explicitly as him not really being in that location. So I don't know that the flag is associated with him per se. But why does the skull have horns?  Heck if I know. Crestwood is in Ferelden.

I didnt really thought the flag was associated with him tho, I was thinking , more of what happen in DA2 in act 2 where the Arishok says we shall return so im thinking that instead of the free marches he will attack Fereldan instead since they are weak form the blight and still recovering... also Sten mentioned they might invade some parts of Thedas if you ask him

 

 

EDIT nvm I misread your comment and thought you were talking about Fereldan... but anywho.. I think that the Qunari are planning an invasion at some point.. dunno if it will actually going to show in this game per say...

TThis pic reminds me of Kirkwall a lil too much... are we only going to Orlais Dales and Fereldan or are we going to the free marches as well?

You know, that candle room from Therinfal Redoubt album looks so sinister. It's not just the puddle of blood on the floor. It's something about the eyes on the wall. It just gives me the feeling that a demon was trapped in that room. 

Also these screenshots totally confirm what R2 said - it's the same castle we saw on that older screenshot with templar banners.

And you can also see red lyrium everywhere in the Fade now.

If I remember correctly someone said we're not going to the Free Marches but I'm not sure who it was

thats kind of a shame since that place is where "it all started"  but thats cool, I would still like to revisit Ferelden and see how its holding out, even tho this may seem cliche but I was kind of expecting  that we were to recruit Cullen from there
