Any pictures of Cullen as he will appear in DAI other than the "last supper table" picture? I find he looks odd in that picture (sloping forhead and receding chin) and I am hoping his actual look will be better.

The lighting in that shot was wretched. I've got a feeling that we're going to have to wait to see him in daylight before we can say that the new look doesn't work for him.

At least his chin wasn't as bad as Carver's original chin. Oh, the derp jokes!

I'll reserve judgement till we get a better look at him. It took a while to get a good look at Solas to see that he was quite good looking. Before that, I thought he looked atrocious.

I'm hopeful they'll show off all four talking, so we can try and guess the VAs! Especially now that I know who Gwendoline Christie is and what she sounds like, since she's my current favourite for Vivienne's VA. And because I think it'll be funny to see Sera, IB and the Inquisitor gang up on Vivienne!

I wasn't talking about how he looks I was more referring to his culture in witch he grew up in, I know im not the most likeable person in this thread and everyone hates/ most ppl ignore my posts but I was just expressing my opinion.
That to me it seemed odd that a ex Qunari would behave in such a way considering that he has grown up in a certain kind of culture even if he "escaped" from it, he would still have some sort of "strict" rules to him

Yeah, not going to touch that whole Dalish thing, but by the end of the book, any initial affection for those two was long since gone.
 

Briala is meant to be a sympathetic character.

FWIW, my issues with her are about the same as my issues with Tallis: there is literally nothing she cannot do and she always, always comes out on top. I can't root for her because she's never in any danger of losing. Gaspard, on the other hand... I dutifully hated him at the beginning of the book, just as I was supposed to do, but by the end of it, I found myself liking him. Sometimes, it was the affection I'd feel for a total but well-written pr!ck, but then, I've always loved a good villain. Michel, I liked from the first page to the last. I have no idea whether he was supposed to be likable or not, but I found him to be.

Ran out of likes. Suddenly. But I support your opinion on Briala. Didn't feel anything for her, except boredom. Ser Michel I would marry.
Re: Oghren. I had mixed feelings about him, and I think it took me 2 trips to the Fade with him, one to Andraste's temple, and 2 Awakening playthroughts to realize that despite his behavior I really love him. He's a very broken man. His every joke has a bitter undertone. He rebuilds his life on the surface, then runs away from it, because his soul rejects peace. There is no fixing for Oghren, just the Grey Warden goblet, a couple of years of fight, and finally the last journey to the Deep Roads. He's not a funny dwarf. His bad humor hides how absolutely f***ed, broken and tragic his character is. And besides that, in Awakening I felt like he was my warden's only true friend. Because no matter what reasons he had, he was there for her, while people who "loved" her weren't. Oghren loves me! And I love him back!

Back to Cullen: do you think that in the end Cullen will try to manipulate you into murdering someone, threatening to dump you if you refuse? Because it's been a good tradition for chantry boys I really hope he won't, I like to think he's different, and won't use our feelings as a leverage.

But it's your choice obviously. Will probably keep you from getting trauma from seeing the episode.

I think, if he was a companion, he would have done it for Cole. As he's an NPC, I think he'll express displeasure with having him around and doing any kind of companion quest.

Only every now and then do I -not- want to know what's going to happen in shows or games. It doesn't make me like it any less and I still feel engaged while watching/playing it. If anything, it saves me time because If what I read is really bad, I won't waste my time. That's why I can't wait for spoilers on DAI to come out. I need as much information as possible to make the perfect playthroughs. I'm weird, I know

You know, although it's kind of obvious that Cullen is supposed to hate Cole, I really hope that BioWare will do something unexpected with these two. Maybe Cullen will actually believe Cole, like Evangeline did, and they will become friends? How cool that would be!

It would be nice, but I'd want it to be a veeeeery slow acceptance of him, and even then not fully. He's a demon, (probably), and Cullen just wouldn't trust a demon because someone's said so.

And if that includes the Inquisitor, I'll kill myself while I'm at it.

My first Inquisitor will totally be like that. So hopefully there's not too many cool Cullen/Cole scenes!
