Clearly a VERY early Work In Progress
[/quotLove this with the fire of a million burning suns! Can't wait to see it complete. I may even have to write a little snippet to go along with it :)

Yes, they look like rivets. The way the plates of his breastplate overlap, it makes me think that it's composed of several pieces, not one, with leather straps holding them together. The plates would be riveted to the straps. This would allow the breastplate some flexibility when he moved. It's actually a pretty sensible armor model.
Yes, looks very good.
I even found something in my books, that looks like it, and I think it may work. It looks 17 century, I'm comparing different countries now.
For references! ![]()
I had the silliest drawing idea as celebration for E3. I should work on that today c__c
Ohhh the excitement!
That's amazing! Thanks for sharing, Lola. ![]()

(edited it a bit... stand by)
OK final, final edits done!
So I'm now sketching a picture of a very confused Inquisitor Melaina wondering when her keep became invaded by a large group of humans attempting to undress her war adviser. You will also note that she is not attempting to stop them

Fur or feather Pauldron
I think they're feathers.
My money is on feathers too ![]()
Elder King, so I don't know hot to do the 'spoiler' thing so I shall just say I like the way you think. Sounds completely logical to me and actually, rather simple. Thanks

I still think it's fur. Because fur is a Fereldan thing. And I hope his armor is decorated with dogs. ![]()

I thought this would do well for lifting hay bales. Just dont have the skills to make it Cullen ![]()
Funny, I saw GE's photos with the same expression as Cullen has here. Cullen learnt something from his VA, apparently ![]()
And I can't decide if he looks annoyed, serious or pained. I think in DAII he was usually friendly and nice, annoyed or pissed off, but I don't remember such grim expression. He's deadly serious here. Serious like a beheading serious.

I've always kinda thought it was likely to be fur, too.
Either way, it certainly is fancy, isn't it? ![]()
Hm, if you tweak Lola's picture of Cullen, it starts to look like his scar goes from his right eye, across his cheek, crosses his lips, and the goes through the middle of the chin. PS, stop screwing my brain! Anyway, the scar looks pretty big.
