I think Gregoir might be dead, honestly. Some epilogues stated this. They're not to be take for granted, but even his codex entry suggested he was very old (possibly older than Irving even).

I kinda hope he is dead. I wouldn't want him getting involved in the rebel Templars. I'm worried about Irving as it is!

He's a big guy, isn't he! I know some of it is down to his armour, but you can see from his lower body that he's stocky. The comparison of his general stature and build next to Vivienne's shows just how broad he is... He's truly built like a fine warrior and I for one can't wait to have my Inquisitor romance him. I might play as an Elf, just to make the size difference even more prominent.

Btw, for anyone worrying that Cullen looks a little ape-like, don't be concerned it's just my iPhone distorted the image slightly which makes him look a bit weird. Trust me when I say that he's A LOT hotter in the proper picture and that's still just with the poor lighting in the war room.

Ahh, okay, interesting to get different perspectives! All right, well that's nothing I didn't know. I'm still a huge fan of the Dalish

I was horrified when Michel carved through them like that to escape. The book really is so, so brutal, hell, more brutal than GOT. So far the Dalish haven't actually killed anyone, then they pretty much get annihilated. That was horrifying. It really boils my blood how consistently all the humans in the novel are so incredibly racist towards elves. It makes me think of what's going on in Europe (and a little bit Australia) right now. And of course my own country has its own lovely history with racism. The Dalish kind of turned away from all that and just want to be left alone. I find it really sad how they idolize the past because it's clearly a losing battle. I really cannot wait to play a Dalish inquisitor, now more than ever, and hope we get to meet with some of these clans.

They fought their way to freedom. The Dalish had already decided they were going to kill the prisoners. The only decision that remained was whether to sell them to Gaspard afterward. If you have to kill the captors who are determined to kill you, it isn't racism, it's survival.

My lord Arl Teagan,

I retired to the Hinterlands for peace and quiet away from the politics, and because the wide open spaces were perfect to let my horses run. Instead, the war between the mages and the templars has turned your beautiful hills into a series of burning battlefields.

The farmers who live in the Hinterlands are good folk. Many of them left Redcliffe village because they couldn't bear to be there anymore, not after the Blight and the walking dead left so many bad memories. Now we've got apostates running around setting fire to anyone who looks at them sideways, and templars looting houses and cutting down those who protest as mage sympathizers.

My wife Elaina sent off our field hands to stay with her family in the east, but there are a lot of poor people here with nowhere to go. We get more refugees every day: this village attacked by mad mages or that farmstead burned to the ground by templars who can't tell a hoe from a staff. I suppose you're stretched thin, but anything you can do to lessen the burden of these poor folk would be much appreciated. I'll do as I can, and if your men need better mounts, say the word.

Not trying to be suggestive (or am I?  ) but look at those thighs.  He's a substantial fella.  I am definitely down for one playthrough as an elf for just those same reasons, but he's going to make all my Inquisitors feel dainty I think.  I'm all aflutter inside, just thinking about it.

I'd say wait until we see a clear HD picture of him. There's going to be a lot more detail to his face than we can see from that picture. Even with the framed version the lighting is still pretty bad, and keep in mind that they're still tweaking and improving the character's physical appearances right up until it's ready to ship.

I'm still drooling on Lolalei's picture, you know... I'm a bit reserved on his haircut for the moment but I really do like his face, definitely more "real" to my taste.

It would be really cool to visit a few places from Origins. Just to see how different they look, and what has happened in all those years.

 

Not too many places we've already seen of course, but 2-3 i think would be cool.
