I'm 7 years older than my sister so that's where a lot of our issues came from, also she is a total different personality then me. My parents were a lot less strict with her than they were with me so .... yeah, that didn't help either. The older I got the more I'm letting go of the resentment, but there are still things that she does that just drives me up the wall and she is 25 now. I don't think we'll ever be really tight, but we still love each other and are there for each other.

 

Since we were so close in age, my parents we equally as strict on me as they were on her. (I had a curfew until I left the house at 22.) But I swear we are almost the same person. We went to the same schools, including graduate school. Same major. Both English teachers (but at opposite schools in the same city). We go to conferences together and want to work together, but it's hard for us to combine our areas of expertise so we're struggling with that. But now we also live two blocks from each other. It's ridiculous.

Oh no, I agree he could have gotten away with it. I was just saying that he had no reason to kill when she willingly went with him to the Circle and had shown no malevolent tendencies.

She's not some six year old who just found out she's a mage. She's been actively avoiding the circle for over a decade. Just being shipped off to the Circle seems like a pretty light sentence for breaking the law.

Sorry, at work. Can't write much now. My point was that, based on her set of circumstances ie going willingly and not showing violent tendencies, I don't see any possible scenario where Cullen would have killed her.

Oh, I see. I guess characters don't really make me mad because they're characters. I probably don't get too heavily invested in the story.

The one character who might really make me mad is Loghain, but mostly I just think he's a bad dude, and I have no real feelings of animosity towards him because, well, I guess because he's not real lol

I need a heavy dose of story immersion and imagination perhaps

Lol, yeah, I hate a lot of fictional characters, but I still find many of them to be well written characters. Except for Petrice. That b*tch can go die in a hole.

But, like was mentioned... now that I'm caught up, in Kirkwall, even helping an apostate is a death sentence. Anders seems to be an anomaly in a lot of ways.
