Nah you're not, I never really liked Harry to be honest, he should have been expelled from Hogwarts on numerous occasions. I just found it very hard to find any empathy when it came to Harry, yet I felt bad for Draco when it got to 6th year despite him being a jerk. And Snape, his whole story just kind of broke my heart a bit.

I could quite happily have avada kedavra'd Harry myself in the later books when he got perenially snappy and moody, and 'woe is me'. I realise he'd been through a lot, but so had everyone around him too.

Well if someone getting flustered when talking to them, and potentially even running away at the hint of an offer is an example of creepy harassment I'd hate to see how they'd deal with some of the men I've encountered

Yes, Lily actually wasn't shown with any flaws in the series. You're right that it's kid of cliché, but I liked how the Rowling left hints about it through the books. And it explained a lot the reason why he was so pissed in the third book.

He knows that he and f!Mage can't be together, but at the same time he likes her very much, and he wants to see her again, and he wants to talk to her again. It would have been easier to avoid that topic, but he deliberately brings it up, because he wants to be honest. He feels bad about it, and he wants us to know that, even if it means we will never want to talk to him again after that.

I headcanon that that is the reason why he's stuttering. It's not because all the blood from his brain retreated to his lower parts, it's because he wants to have this difficult conversation, and he's scared he will screw this up.

Snape would have done far better getting the occasional haircut and cooking up cocktail potions for libationally challenged witches than moaning about Lilly for half a century or so. Obviously the solution to his lovelorn problems was alcohol and casual sex. Really, these morons could have learnt a thing or two from the Muggles!

Pretty much this,personally when I first met Cullen,I didn't even know he was supposed to like the female mage since I didn't pay attention to the ambient dialogue...But the way he expressed that he sometimes feels conflicted about his duty(I hunt apostates with a heavy heart etc..) made me like him.

I think that is a pretty good explanation combined with the fact that he's rather timid by nature,he also looks a little surprised that  the girl he's used to watch from afar and secretly likes,talk to him.

It's not canon, but in my mind 2 dialogue branches overlapped. The one where we say, "Hello, Cullen", and the one where we ask, "Why are you stuttering?" so for a very long time I thought that they've talked before, and he didn't stutter, until that day. And the only thing that changed that day was the fact that he was told to kill her if something goes wrong.

As I said before, he was already kind of broken since his childhood, and Lily's death was the last straw. I agree that It'd have ben better for him to move on though. He just wasn't able to.
