Thank you! I'm fangirling over people who like my comic! You guys just make me so happy!
Cullen why can't you turn up in Scotland
I'm loving these pictures Gala haha
Also, I may or may not have fangirled when I realised you're the person who created 'Obsession'. Absolutely stunning comic by the way, both in the storyline and art
I'm looking at that picture of Wilmod now, and he kind of looks unhealthy. Does demonic possession cause hepatitis? I have yellowish-olive skin myself, but his looks almost greenish.
Now, how I fell in love with Cullen. Hello, I'm Gala, and I've been a Cullenite since 2010. My first characters were a city elf and a Dalish elf, so I only noticed Cullen a couple of months after DAO was released. At first I didn't get it that he had a crush on my Surana. I have a terrible memory for names, and my copy of the game was also with Russian subtitles, so you read one name, and hear another. So instead of "I heard Cullen is in love with you" I heard "****** is in love with you", and I thought, bah, not my problem! And then I met Cullen, and I though he was an idiot, because he was stuttering. I saw the option to get creepy, but I remember I thought, "Why would my beautiful and smart magical girl sleep with that dumb***?"

I hope a Cullenite got it
OMG Imagine if Lola got it; that'd be so awesome lol
I actually hope no one that's known to be 'in' with the devs has won. It's not that I think those guys don't deserve it! But all I can think of is the bullying and aggressive BS that would attract because people would call foul and claim they only won because they know people for sure. ![]()

Damn, I desperately want Beardy to be a companion. DESPERATELY. Cause that means I have 2/3 chance of getting a LI I like.
I wouldn't object to this! I'm beginning to understand Aimo's obsession with the guy. But take whatever I say with a handful of salt. As far as looks are concerned, I'd be happy with any of them. Cole is literally the only male in the lineup I don't find attractive. Sorry, Artemis, I know you like him, and I can respect that, but personal taste is a quirky thing.

I dunno, but gosh, this is going to sound so incredibly bitchy, but I hope the winners are actual fans and not someone who thought this would be their way into the VA industry.
I hope so too. When I saw that video with some of the entries and 90% of them had these huge microphones (and some even seemed to be in a booth) I got worried. I doubt random DA fans just happen to have professional VO equipment at home

I bet he's a professional VA already, he's really good.
Would have been fun to hear the contribution of the other winner too.

Depends on what you mean by "professional"
Some people just have great and unique voices.

Working with it for a living and/or making money off it.
Sure, some people have great and unique voices, but you need to know how to combine the acting with the voice, too.
If he's not a professional he should be.

The other winner doesn't have her video on youtube. Apparently her internet is so slow her husband had to email the entry to Bioware while at work.
She giggling like mad over in the Scuttlebut forum.

I thought so
Nothing wrong with that though, the rules didn't say it had to be a newbie.
But it would be fun if the other one was just a regular fan ![]()

I haven't heard that one. Maybe I should check it out.

That's so exciting. I'm really happy for both contest winners. Kinda wish I'd entered but I didn't plot it out right and I missed the deadline. lol. It wouldn't really matter if you had experience as long as you could act though. I mean, they're going to go in to the studio to record so it'll sound fantastic in both cases, I'm sure.
Also, you can't always predict what they'll end up liking. Casting can be really subjective or really objective. It's kind of impossible to know ![]()
Edit: Just putting this here because it's so on target for aspiring actors (and curious people, too) Bryan Cranston is a wise man.

So is he a DA fan, then?

She actually got it uploaded. Check in the Scuttlebutt for the link. She says she's a Yorkie (sorry, couldn't resist), Northern British. I think she sounds awesome, and, truthfully, if they needed someone to voice a few lines for Anora, she'd fill the bill... but that's just me. ![]()

Hey she sounds great too!
I like the lines, I'm glad there are people in Thedas that won't like us.
