well you can only get that in CGI movies where that kind of hair is rendered by many many servers.. game wise if you want it to run its gonna look pretty low detailed

I'd prefer longer hair or ponytail or something. Right now the companion with longest hair is the Grey warden and that's just odd

I've seen some games w/ decent looking hair, even SWTOR and the Elder Scrolls Online have some really nice looking hair models and textures, which seems harder to achieve in both function and style considering that there are many people on the server at a time. My complaint would be that it looks...paper-y if that makes any sense. Not much depth. 

if we are talking about the hair model it self and just a texture then sure there are many ways u can get to that, but as for realistic CGI looking hair that will never be able to run in any game like for example this pic

The closest thing I've seen to realistic hair in video games is TressFX, but even that looks quite wonky at times.

dont worry about it, sorry I guess i just assumed you meant realistic looking hair, but im sure they will polish it up and make it look good.

Like for example when they 1st showed Varric's kit the hair looked a lil weird but in the most recent trailer the hair looked very good to me so im sure that they will make it better by release

I hear ya', and once I get a satisfactory image of Cullen, then I will be all about information on each and every one of the others.  I would love to have an image of him similar to the one they gave us for Sera today.  That would be lovely, I think.  Then I would be like "bring on the rest!"

Well Sera seems like a sassy lady, I like her already Also she has beautiful lips, I want her lips for my Quizzy.....do you think we can rifle through the companions features like a jumble sale because that would be cool....creepy but cool.

I am so hoping we'll see the CC during E3 and maybe even some PC hairstyles (I'm crossing all my extremities for that one)

Tomb Raider and Resident Evil are just a couple of games that come to my mind when I think of realistic CGI hair that has been implemented in actual gameplay
