Happy Friday!
Today should be a great day for DAI! And to start off the morning (morning for me at least) here's the other half of my thing that I'm drawing.

well, the codex mentions f!Mage if you import her, and I think it says that when he hears these rumors about himself, it makes him sad, but at the same time he doesn't seem sad when he remembers Hawke's cousin, so I think it makes him sad that people talk about his private life, not that he had that crush.
My Inquisitor will totally climb on his shoulders, sit on his head, mess with his hair, bring him puppies and kittens, warm the water for his bath, and bake him potatoes in her hands. She's a puppy when she's in love
If she won't make him smile, then he has no heart.
Lol our Inquisitors sound pretty similar, god I want her to be Fereldan so she can give him some home cooking. ![]()
And the what you said about him being sad when people gossip about him, I think that is pretty spot on and makes me feel a little sad. Now all I want to do is give him a hug and make him sit down to eat some pudding ![]()
Edit: And you Inquisitor will definitely make him smile!!

My inquisitor is going to be a merciless tease
she'll drive him to distraction one way or another. It's going to take them a while to realise they care about each other ![]()

Guys, I just noticed in the Sera pic that Sera's right hand looked weird and it's because her hand is clipping into the pouch at her hip. This is similar to the Solas incident with his hand in the rock. WOOPS! It doesn't ruin anything for me but just realized now why I thought her right hand was deformed or something.
SERA IS BECOMING ONE WITH THE BAG!

Theres also no mention of her in his codex if you don't import. I thought the other origins existed but died, so there may not even have been a crush if you didn't play an Amell or Surana lady.He doesn't even mention her if you haven't imported a mage protagonist game to DA2, so maybe they will just go with "It was a little crush he had as a young man that doesn't really affect him today."
And he didn't really seem angsty about her if he mentions her in DA2, more wistful, like he was remebering simpler times.

Aww, I just watched that video Lola linked again. I just love Cullen's voice!
Now imagine him confessing his love for our Inquisitors! ![]()
It's sweet how he feels bad for Starkhaven apostates, because he thinks they died. In act 1 Cullen is still traumatized by Uldred's rebellion, so it's a nice little detail, that he's still capable of compassion.

It also makes me wonder how/why Cassandra has him in the Inquisition, like was he already an establish military leader in his own faction before he joined us? Or did Cassandra lug him out of the dungeons and say "here's your chance to redeem yourself, go lead this faction", or did the Divine purposely give them all their own faction in preparation in case **** hit the fan?

That's what I've been thinking once I went into logic mode instead of "I want my chest to clench with angst mode". So yeah, I'm very much doubting now that the crush will factor into the romance with the Inquisitor.

Agree. Which is frankly fine by me since I never played the Mage origin. Y'know, after reading that AusGamer article where it says that Cassandra forms the Inquisition via a loop hole and the 3 advisors are pillars of the Inquisition, it makes me wonder if Cullen, Leliana and Scribe Girl are all going to be already there when we get made the Inquisitor. Unless she makes the Inquisition with us? Like, "here was the plan B, you're in charge now go seek out these 3 people that could be of use to you" sorta thing.

Lol claws. When you think of it in a real life scenario, the last thing you want to hear you LI go on about is their ex. So I'm into him not mentioning her. Wait, is Cullen a virgin? Surely not.... he must have gotten it on somewhere along the line? I've never considered this before

All good questions for which I have many theories. Sadly I sort of expect the backstory on him becoming your advisor to be simplified. I'm bracing for gigantic hand wave about his knowledge and accountability regarding Kirkwall.Y'know, after reading that AusGamer article where it says that Cassandra forms the Inquisition via a loop hole and the 3 advisors are pillars of the Inquisition, it makes me wonder if Cullen, Leliana and Scribe Girl are all going to be already there when we get made the Inquisitor. Yeah, I think Cullen, Scribbles and Leliana were already a part of the plan. I just don't think Cass would trust us with these things. She's been in this Chantry team for years, she know all important and useful people there, why would she trust a stranger with these matters? I think she only allows us to "lead", because of the magical hand. Otherwise she would have thrown us into a dungeon, I think.
And I don't believe Cullen was let out of the prison to redeem himself. I wouldn't have trusted my prisoner to lead my army. I think he had a good record already, Maybe after Lambert did his thing, Cullen said, "Screw you, guys, I'm with the Divine!" saddled his horse, and rode to Val Ro - I think you need to be a Canadian to play this game, dammit - Val Royeaux. And he went to the Divine, and said, "I'm so sorry all templars rebelled, but I'm not with them, please let me serve you." And Justinia said, "Ah, you are so cute, ok!" Because she didn't really had a choice, templars rebellion, after all, left Chantry toothless. So maybe she charged Cullen with recruiting other loyal templars, and that's what he did.

Inb4 he's a forty year old virgin.
Nothing wrong with that, although I think the first encounter will be ... Uh... Explosive.

LOL! Aww well honestly, regardless of experience, it helps to actually have them (not that they are universally pleasurable to have attached to one's frame, but actually having them there helps one to understand the physics involved better).
It probably helps to point out that I habitually stare at women's breasts and think, "Why is she wearing a bra that doesn't fit?!" So it is clearly a thing I have lol
Had an interesting conversation in Mumble with my guild the other night, similarly to this subject. Mostly guys, of course, all talking over the question of various assets. I stayed quiet up until I finally sighed and said, "Yea, yea. It all sounds good until you try figuring out how to keep the dang things from bouncing enough to give you a blasted headache during your Drill Sergeant's 4am 5 mile run. Idiots." They guffawed a good five minutes, hehe.
Anyway, I'm with you, Curious. I look at women around me all the time thinking, "What the heck are you even thinking?!"

My first job was as a clerk in the lingerie department of a ladies boutique. One of the things I had to be trained to do was measure for bra size. Until then, I had no idea how many women ran around wearing bras that didn't fit. It was always huge revelation to them when they actually put one on that fit properly!!

Oooh 5 miles, ouch! It was bad enough the other day when the postman arrived unexpectedly when I was in my pyjamas. I ran down 3 flights of stairs sans bra, and nearly knocked myself out with the bouncing. Not pleasant.
I also envy women who can cross their arms when angry, when I do it it just looks like I'm making a boob shelf
