That makes more sense,unless Hawke's weapons are just rare but not unique.

maybe not even rare. One of the writers said that the Malcolm's honor staff was just something you could buy in a store. So honestly I'm thinking it's just a cameo with no special meaning. The other weapons are probably the same.

I wouldn't say Solas has been officially announced. We've only heard his name from DG here on the forums. He's not on the web site either. (Recall the gaming mag that got the name wrong? Lol)

Ok, Solas was mentioned in a Gamestar magazine back in April, but that's it. So really he is still an 'unannounced' character.

Some pictures made it seem like he did to me, but I think it was just the crap lighting.

yeah, and it does seem to me they May Be revealing them in the order we May meet them in game. I really hope we're not getting some half way thru the friggin game, tho. No, I don't want them all clumped together like a cup of cottage cheese . But I wanna have them fairly early on so we can grow and bond together.
 
as far as when we get the advisors, or more specifically Cullen, we'll see.

In DAO I always felt really rushed to get to know some of the characters, especially Zev because I didn't want him turning on me. I like getting them reasonably early on in the game like in DA2, but then in DA2 there wasn't as much interaction so it was almost like "what's the point?"

The amount of dialogue we had with each companion was the same in DAO as in DA2; it maybe just felt different since it was spread out over various quests... couldn't just park yourself in front of someone at camp and grill them for twenty minutes

I don't know why, but to me their personalities seem more like a "brother/sister" relationship could be a thing. 

 

A Vivienne romance would be totally fine with me though.

I suspect that the brains is Solas, and the looks is Dorian Pavus. 

 

That takes up Saturday and Sunday, and the conference is on Monday. Four spots for four characters.

That's a bit of a leap .
Plus, I'm on the opposite side, since I want Sera as a LI. Expecially because I'd like a non-human romance.
