It's weird, not counting Solas, there's still Cole, Dorian, and Beardy to "officially" reveal... will they double up? Or maybe announce the final one on Monday? Or maybe simply continue releasing companion info throughout the week?

Man, clearly they intend to talk about the companions in detail at E3. And the advisers, too, I hope?

Yeah I don't see that video popping up for a month at least... if ever.

They said meet the heroes, soooo that would include Leliana, Cullen and Scribe Girl, in theory? Or at least Scribe Girl since she's a complete unknown.

They said it will be a DAI week next week in the Twitter thread, so I'm guessing they won't stop when E3 starts but more add the E3 stuff to their current release of info.

Thanks, I was trying to remember what phrasing they used. Meet the heroes, hmm, yeah, that could include more than just followers. It solidifies my belief that advisers are going to be far more than mere NPCs.

Nopers. I sure hope followers can use mounts... I hate the Skyrim way of doing things! And in Skyrim you only have one companion. How frigging hard would that have been, Skyrim devs?! It took modders only a few days to make a proper mod.

Regarding Sansa...

[spoiler]

I agree, and yeah, I wonder what she's thinking now, with that crazy goth look of hers?! lol Personally, I think she is going to try to control Robin, but prevailing consensus seems to be that she is going to try to play "the game" and woo Littlerfinger.

Wooing Littlefinger? I hope not! Doesn't seem like something she (or book Sansa really) would do :/ But it does seem like it now I agree. Also is Robin sick in the tv show? I don't remember him having his "shakes" like in the books.

Edit: I give up! Spoiler tags are going crazy on me. Anyone else having trouble with them today?

It will be interesting. I wonder how compared to Samantha for example they'll be in importance.

Leliana, Scribbles and Cullen didn't have white-out over them in the Meet the Heroes picture, so hopefully they are included in the marketing lineup.

Yeah, in the show he's referred to as sickly here and there. (Don't think that needs to be in spoiler lol)

Refreshing to start the day with some Cullen hate :D

I'm expecting Meet the Heroes to include the advisors. My guess is that we'll get one character reveal each day now until and through E3.

Way more important than her, I'd say. She pretty much does one thing... she locates the signal for the distress call from... something or other. I forget. It's her shining moment in the sun lol (or space). Do I like her, yes, I loved Sam. But I expect our advisers to have a vastly more significant impact on the narrative and on our decisions.

CuriousArtemis: I try to keep all OT stuff under spoiler tags as much as I can. I seem to remember someone saying it would be good so that the devs won't just see a mountain of OT stuff when they visit :D I might remember wrong though.

Lol,Seriously facepalming so hard at the sight of in such threads will certainly leave a mark...

Hopefully, otherwise I assume they'd make it more specific like "meet the followers" or something...

I think Allan said it was okay if this was a thread for people who like Cullen to chat about whatever, that it doesn't necessarily have to always be a thread ABOUT Cullen... but it's always good to be cautious :D

(TRUFAX: I just get tired of typing out the spoiler code every damn time lol)

She gives you the Grissom Academy and Cerberus Scientists quests as well as tracks Kai Lang to Horizon.

But yeah, with DAi being more open I expect Cullen's, Leliana's, and Scribbles' roles to be more open as well instead of the more scripted(in a good way) Mass Effect 3. So like they'll give us reports on how that aspect of the Inquisition is doing and quests probably at least.

Thanks, I was trying to remember what phrasing they used. Meet the heroes, hmm, yeah, that could include more than just followers. It solidifies my belief that advisers are going to be far more than mere NPCs.

In that AusGamer interview with Cameron Lee he said that the advisors are the three main important pillars of the Inquisition and that each of those pillars leads an aspect of the Inquisition, Leliana with her group of spies and assassins, Scribe Girl with her political connections and a "particular character" (Cullen) with his military stuff... granted, he never said Cullen or Scribe Girl's name directly, but that's obviously who he was talking about.

Here's a direct quote:

AusGamers: "Game of Thrones has thrust the politics of fantasy worlds into the forefront of how people think about them, and the Player Character in Inquisition is the leader of a fairly political faction. Will politics play a large role in the game?"

Cameron: "Yes it does. There are a couple of different facets from that. There is one plot in particular which is very much a political plot, it's very much backroom deals and court intrigue and how you influence people based on your reputation. Sort of what can you pull off and at what cost to other people? There's a whole plot dedicated to that kind of experience, and it's bloody as well. Like Game of Thrones, I guess, is definitely a bloody type of politics--it's similar with us. Dragon Age has always had the blood and gore and the dark concept of politics and this plot is a great representation of that.

You mention that the Inquisition is a powerful political faction and that is absolutely true. All throughout the game you will slowly build up the Inquisition to be in a position of power, people recognise you for who you are and what authority you wield. The Inquisition has three main pillars right, they have a military force lead by one particular character, you've got a secret facet with spies and assassins lead by Leliana from DAO and then you've got a political pillar, which is all about the politics, the backroom deals and the connections you have... not just through nobles but also through merchant houses and stuff like that. And the area you decide to invest in both in terms of how you decide to grow and customise your Inquisition but also the types of content you decide to engage in is all up to the player. So if someone wants to play that kind of Game of Thrones-y political aspect they can definitely do it and that flavours the whole game and it impacts the whole game. They're still going to have to go around and kill some things themselves, but having that powerful political organisation will be reflected as well."

I'm really intrigued about this whole advisor thing, even more so now that it sounds like they'll be with us from the start... or at least, once we've hunted them down.

Aww, poor Sam, guess I seriously shortchanged her

Yes I mean, I expect them to be in various cut scenes with us, especially in war room type cut scenes.

Yeah, she was better an intel gathering than Liara the Shadow Broker. :P

Yeah, I'd love for them to be in the decision making process cutscenes. like how Samantha was in the Post-Thessis one. But have these three be involved in all of them.

Indeed. I want Scribbles to be an ingame nickname too. :P

Sayeth Cameron in the article...:

This makes Scribe Girl seem like more than a mere merchant type... she may have connections to court. Well, I mean, obviously she does. So she's a politician! Huh. Interesting.

Cullen was in that "meet the heroes" pic so I'd be really surprised if they didn't talk about him in that segment. :(
