Yes exactly! Constructive criticism and mindless hate are 2 completely different things, as I believe someone has pointed out before. 

 

Well on the bright side it's not half as bad as the Dragon Age fandom on Tumblr, which is one of the main reasons I decided to come join the forums instead. It's pretty overwhelming with the hate and overly obsessive social justice bloggers >_< 

Speaking of character themes, that would be pretty awesome! I'm not too sure if they may actually do it, but I'm all YESS for that idea if it's not too much trouble for Bioware. 

I had heard Tumblr has turned a bit scary too but as I don't really use it myself I don't know too much about it. Hopefully DAI being released will provide people with new positive material to go through

Absolutely agree with you, and I'm sure everyone else here does as well.  I think the main point was that we personally were being attacked as fans of Cullen, not that they disagreed with certain views.  All are welcome to discuss and debate, but if it takes a more aggressive turn as it did on that thread then we would really rather stay away from those people.

No one should be attacked for participating in a fandom or for liking a particular character.There are many characters who I disliked(though not really hated) so far yet I never attempted to insult those who like them.They're real people after all with feelings and thoughts that should be respected!
Becoming hostile towards them because you hate a character they like is ridiculous.

I think he said Cullen is good-looking? Or a bit of a looker?

To be honest, I doubt he would play the games. Playing long games like Dragon Age requires some dedication, and GE seems to have a very busy life. Maybe his kids would play, and tell him they heard him like everywhere  It would be funny.

Anyway, I can't wait to see that interview! I wonder what he meant by "talking hair"?

Get out my brain you! I mean, I kind of like Zevran when I play Origins, but as a character in retrospect, I find him very problematic. And as a bisexual, my biggest hope for the 2/2/2 system is that we get an openly bisexual LI who isn't looking to hump anything that moves, or doesn't have much experience at all. For me, Cullen and Vivienne would be perfect, but that's kind of where I'm also just being selfish because those are the characters I generally like best.

From a stats point of view, I would prefer Scribbles and Cullen to be the bisexual characters just so they don't pull a ME3 and give both "pure gay" options to the NPCs (granted the major problem ended up being gay Sheps were stuck with Cortez if Kaidan was gone). I KNOW the companion romances will be good, I have no idea whether the NPC romances will be better, worse or the same as ME3, so...

 

As a "bent" guy, I have to say my two hopes for characters I can romance as a male are Cullen and DMHG (if he's really Dorian). I wonder what tricks a magister learns .

Kaidan had great hair. Wasn't there some kind of joke about it in the Citadel DLC? I loved that he was going grey in ME3! Maybe Cullen will have some silver mixed into his golden curls too

I completely agree. Character discussions are great because no character is perfect, and it's interesting to explore their flaws with people who may not share the same opinion with you. It opens up news perspectives and in a good way.

Ah right, it is loosened up now that I've looked at it again properly. Thanks for pointing that out

Hey guys, I'm all for proving the troll wrong, which he is considering his proof isn't actually proof, and also scaring him off with shirtless cullen with baby animals, but this is gone on long enough. It's been several pages, I'm stepping in for an absent R2 here for a moment to tell you we should just start ignoring him. Arguing with him to this length will just invite more of his kind.
