I heard someone suggest Blackwall is a Marcher, which could give him a nice Scottish accent.

Definitely wouldn't mind Brian Blessed's voice coming out of his mouth though

aww he wanted to come rescue Ferelden but couldn't :(

Yeah, Cullen x Amell pics have a habit of depicting one partner as being unwilling. Ick.

Speculation time: I think he is going to be pretty close to being taken by the taint and has chosen to leave the wardens to help in the inquisition rather than go to the deep roads (or where ever it is Orlesian wardens go to die). It's look to me like, if he wanted to come help Ferelden during the blight, than maybe he doesn't agree with the wardens stance of staying on the fence with anything other than blights.....?

All I can hear is Billy Connolly, which is ridiculous  :D

We are close to being 1/3 of the way to 2000 WOW. Maybe we should start looking for themes from the E3 material?

There's some good E3 details in here guys:

http://www.edmontons...d173d2c4f599a09

“This is the first time we’re really going to deeply show one of the critical paths in the story, showing you the consequences of what’s going on in the world,” Darrah says, adding “it’s time for dragons to come out in all their glory at E3.”

Creative Director Mike Laidlaw says the E3 showing will allow BioWare to hone in on relationships in the game as “there’s a real appeal to feeling like there’s this team that kind of has your back but often doesn’t have your back very well...”

Spaces will also “evolve and react to your presence,” added Darrah, as players defeat enemy troops, rebuild bridges and seize areas for the Inquisition.

This! Would be amazing :P

I'm still hoping to one day play a game where Alan Rickman does the voice for a male LI.

OOH - sounds good.  I don't want a string of yes men and women mindlessly following me around appreciating my awesome every few scenes.  I really hope there is a sense that they all have their own agendas and are willing to go ahead with my leadership while it helps them achieve their goals.  I don't like blind faith and loyalty very much and I've enjoyed being told to gfm by a few companions in the past.   :)

I like the idea that the companions/advisors will not agree with us all the time. Makes for some pretty boring strategy plannings/choices. That is one thing that bugged me in DA2 no matter how I played if I wanted a friendship romance with fenris I just had to leave him brooding in the mansion.
I know I heard/read it will be different. I kinda want my inquisition team to question what I do/don't do whether they where there or not.

Looks like more awesome stuff will be revealed Monday!!

I just found a Cullen modded video thingy that I've never seen before. Also, I love the hairstyles used on the Warden in this!:

Aww, this is beautiful! And I love the song too. I only wish Cullen and Alistair were a bit less modded, but I guess it's the matter of personal taste. I hope Cullen can have a happy ending in DAI. And a wedding, and a bunch of kids, and a house, and everything his heart desires (which is probably to stay a knight, but a girl can dream). Even if it's going to be a very short happy ending, because lyrium Alzheimer is coming, I still want him to have that little bit of happiness. :)

So, looking at his hair in DAO/DA2 in comparison to his DAI model, what it kinda looks like is that he's grown it out at the front a bit. Like, if you look at it up close with the DA:O/DA2 versions the little curls are all cut super short, in DAI they're longer at the front and have become loose waves that he's swept back, but everywhere else they're shorter and curly still. If that makes sense?

Yes, that makes sense, and I was trying to find a picture of that hair cut, but Google keeps throwing Brad Pitt at me  (I don't mind, he's cute!)

I think I like this idea? It sounds neat to have a caring but flawed team.

I just hope they aren't too unreliable and/or backstabby, and are reasonably competent.

Well I certainly wasn't expecting Blackwall to be Orlesian. Until I saw the curve of his moustache, at least! It's good to know at least one of our companions will probably have a definitely Orlesian accent, (not counting Cassandra since her VA purposefully gave her a mixed accent, iirc).

This makes me all aflutter, thinking about the (remote) possibility that Stephane Cornicard (Stroud, Riordan) might have been recruited to voice a follower. I could listen to that voice all day.

I feel I should say something about Cullen!

How great will it be to see our Knight Commander in action again.  One of my favorite scenes with him was his Wilmod fight in DA2.  So I hope that these exertion VA thingies mean he will be fighting again and not that he's having trouble walking up the keep steps after eating too much cake post DA2.   :o

Poor R2 - suffering for the Cullenites relentless desire for information.  :)

I love Cullen. I swoon everytime I see him. But I consider his fight against Wilmod is absolutely boring and static. Or ordinary : even the skills he uses are used by other npc. I thought they were templar exclusive abilities, but I saw a city guard using them with the exact tempo.
So well... I sincerely don't see what's special in this fight, except the fact that it's Cullen and it's always good to see him. :D
In DAI I want him to move faster, hit faster and have skills of his own (at least, templar-exclusive skills). I want badassery. ;)

Well I suppose my reason for liking the scene so much is not related to the action at all but rather the 'Wow.....Cullen......    ' reaction it provoked in me.'

So I'm on board and support Badassery for Cullen in DAI cutscenes.   ;)

Well done finding Blackwall in the World of Thedas!

Here's names of people mentioned in world of thedas we haven't met yet (possible follower names)

Ser Evrain Abernache, noble merchant scholar
Philliam, a bard
Joffrey Orrick, Lord Chancelor of Tantervale
Berard, Brother at the Perendale Chantry
Beskorus of Vyntium
Renatus of Ayesleigh
Ashor Vell, chantry brother
Micaela Chevais, initiate
Hevara, chantry mother
Anashe, Avvar tribeswoman
Callistus, magister of Taraevyn

I guess that Callistus could be Dorian as Taraevyn is in Tevinter, depending on if it fits with whatever's written about Callistus. But the other names don't seem to fit with any of our companions.

Nugs look like vermin to me... like a cross between a naked rat, a naked mole, and a naked possum. All nasty things you do not want to encounter in your yard late at night lol (critters one often DOES encounter down here in Louisiana, sans nakedness). *shudder* I bet they hiss at you, too, just like a mangy possum.

Pls, call those Opossum.

The Australian Possums feel offended.

Aaaand now back to my catch up!

(I would post a picture of the Poss I'm looking after, but my net browser is being a douchenstein and locking up on me a lot. ;n; )
