I read a fanfiction by Crisium that addressed lyrium addiction and how Cullen dealt with it.  Beautiful story.  Multiple parts to it, though-- it starts with an Alistair/Amell pairing but then continues with a Cullen/Amell in the later installations.  Highly recommend it.

I didn't get it at first either!  He made a play on words with Bioware and aware. 
"are you aware..."   is like: "are you Bio-aware ..." 

OOOOOOH gottcha! Now that makes sense! And ZOMG I wish I could thank GE for being so awesome and kind to us. Must be tough being an actor and not having a lot of time on your hands for stuff, but he somehow makes time. :'D
