Good point, probably best they don't then! Still, just the CC would be nice!
If they release the CC, forget other games. It's just me making pretty elves and hawt qunari ladies until October.
Who I identify the most with in a DA game is really subjective for me, since I identify more with NPCs than my protags. I never identified with any of my wardens at all.
In the case of DA2 though, I definitely identified with my gay male Hawke the most. He was mostly sarcastic, but a good guy none the less. And I stress the gay part because when I play these games, I'm pretty flexible. I flirt with everyone and don't really think twice about it because lol game why not. I'm bi myself, but I just knew that this particular character was gay, end of.
Sounds a little awkward written out, but there you go.
Not at all; it's the lovely thing about RPGs that they let us be a version of ourselves we can't normally be, or can't readily express, in our day to day lives.
In my case, I think my love of writing and storytelling gets in the way of me identifying too much with characters, but at the same time, every character (main at least) I create when writing possesses some aspect of myself, or else I couldn't identify with him or her.
In an ideal world, and I say this as an agnostic, but when I die I'll be reborn as one of my male characters and live out my life's awesome adventure lol
