That's a good guess, but do you think that means we won't get anymore featurettes? I was thinking tomorrow we'd get another one at the usual time, and then continuing throughout the rest of the week.

Yeah, I suspect my canon Inquisitor for my ultimate playthrough will end up being whatever the most attractive character I can create within whatever race and gender I find myself preferring the most. All I know is that I wanna give Cullen a hotty when it comes to whoever my canon Inquisitor will be because the poor guy deserves it! He's gonna be stuck with my me!Inquisitor the first time around though, poor sod!

You're full of it; you're smokin hot! :P Cullen should be so lucky. But I know what you mean. My first quizzy is going to be an Adonis of an elf. If Cullen doesn't appreciate him, then I will at least

The first bloody sentence has a typo: Electronic Arts, not Electronic arts!

Ashe will write a quick, exciting, fangirl-ish blog about it. Then people will yell at her and insult her for writing it hastily, because, duh, she should spend 10 hours working on each blog entry so that it's meticulously correct. Then Ashe will return with the corrections. Then the Examiner will quote her blog but they'll get every other word wrong.

Oh man! If this is credible, that'll be great!

Maybe in the future, when it's nearing the release, they miiiiight put up a public digital demo like bioware did with ME3?

I don't think they'll be doing that again.  DA2's started the shstorm of displeasure about the game and of course they are always data mined the second anyone with any skills gets their hands on them, releasing spoilers into the pure stream of anticipation.  I'd love it personally but I don't think it likely they'll release the demo publicly.

If it is playable then maybe they'll release it to the public at some point so that we can play it too? Although probably not.

Well I know there's a Sims 4 demo, so it's at least half credible.

I have mixed feelings on public demo. On one hand, they're great to test the game. On the other, they requires a lot of work which the devs can use to polish the game, and with Bioware it generally means people will use them to leak spoilers.

Good point, probably best they don't then! Still, just the CC would be nice!

I would lock myself in my room for like a week if they gave us a CC

Who I identify the most with in a DA game is really subjective for me, since I identify more with NPCs than my protags. I never identified with any of my wardens at all.

In the case of DA2 though, I definitely identified with my gay male Hawke the most. He was mostly sarcastic, but a good guy none the less. And I stress the gay part because when I play these games, I'm pretty flexible. I flirt with everyone and don't really think twice about it because lol game why not. I'm bi myself, but I just knew that this particular character was gay, end of.

Sounds a little awkward written out, but there you go.

OH - I long for a CC.  Imagine the hours we could all waste preparing our characters, the plotting, the planning...tweaking.   This would be the greatest thing they could gift to their loving fan base.  I want it so badly.  (I also want a weeping emoticon)

If they do release a public demo, story leaks are inevitable. It happened with DA2, ME2 and ME3 and I see no reason why it wouldn't happen with DAI.

Yeah, I know what you mean. My first Inquisitor was going to be a total self-insert when I first started planning her, including the bi thing, but as I developed her further in my mind, I gradually realised that I cannot picture her with another woman. Even Vivienne.

If they release the CC, forget other games. It's just me making pretty elves and hawt qunari ladies until October.

Not at all; it's the lovely thing about RPGs that they let us be a version of ourselves we can't normally be, or can't readily express, in our day to day lives.

In my case, I think my love of writing and storytelling gets in the way of me identifying too much with characters, but at the same time, every character (main at least) I create when writing possesses some aspect of myself, or else I couldn't identify with him or her.

In an ideal world, and I say this as an agnostic, but when I die I'll be reborn as one of my male characters and live out my life's awesome adventure lol

My sister gets in from out of state tomorrow so I'll be pretty busy on and off all week. I imagine this thread is going to explode and i'll have no chance of keeping up with it, much as I'd like to. Is there going to be a thread or anything like that with summaries of information on E3? I'd love to keep apprised of the goings-on, but I don't know if it's going to be possible to read all the posts!   :(
