Showed more areas, we got to see some comapnions and others roaming around. Some of the new demons and mobs. It's just a short hello before the big things they got planned for today. It makes us think more. Leliana was seen fighting, Cullen was seen directing forces...so they may be more involved then we think. Morrigan was there, so there's a chance we'll get to hang out with her a bit more. The areas are stunning. We got to see the Inq in a bit of action.
I'm honestly confused at what you didn't like. It's a trailer, they aren't going to show us too much, they want us to stay curious and they'll be showing us more later today as well
I explained why it didn't appeal to me, but also I've only had about 10 minutes to watch it in spurts in between getting ready this morning/afternoon, so, there's that.

Trust me, that trailer was the best of the entire bunch for equal gender representation.
I counted 2 female quizzies!

We're going to have to resign ourselves that BW devs think (or wish) all women walk like they're on a fcuking catwalk.
They do their little turn on the cat walk, yeah on the cat walk, on the cat walk yeah! they shake their little tush on the cat walk!

No I don't really like this one. Lots of silly action with people flipping around at impossible angles, and the clothing still looks weird, and it's mostly women. Where are the guys? I want to get a closer look at my possible options. And still the same warrior human male with the same voice.
I'm sure they're saving the uber trailer for their own show. *fingers crossed*

Really? Hawke had a more average pitch to his voice. This voice forces you to play a certain type of character. But just imagine if the female voice were revealed and she sounded like Bernadette Peters or something. Just a really niche voice. That's what this is. It is not versatile like Hawke's was.
I mean, it's like Gideon Emery's voice. His voice is beautiful but it doesn't really encourage you to make many different kinds of characters. There's a certain character for THAT sort of voice.

Oh yeah. Assassin's Creed: Unity had four different playable characters. All of them were broody white guys. And Fable Legends had two playable female characters, one a mage and one a warrior. The mage wore more clothes than the warrior woman. Which is saying something considering she appeared to be wearing a winter bikini.

Well, that was fun and unexpected! I suppose I shouldn't have been surprised--EA and Microsoft have been pretty close as of late, if there was going to be a console showing DAI footage, it was going to the Microsoft's.
Super excited about the glimpse of Cullen! (Aww, his waist ribbon ties off on the back!) I'm not sure if this means anything about having Cullen in-party, though. Nice to see he, and the other advisors, do leave the main base from time to time, though!

/shrugs/ sad to know that the gaming industry is still mostly dominated by male gamers/designers. :/
