Yeah - I'm not too keen on Blackwall after reading the description.  I felt they could have just stamped PALADIN on his head and left it at that but really I'm sure he's much more complex than that and will be a great companion once we meet him and get to know his character in game.

The Iron Bull is very intriguing.  I like his backstory.  I'm definitely going to keep track of his personal quests and my relationship with him to make sure I can uncover as much of that as is on offer.  Yeah, I wasn't ever really that much of a fan before but I'm well on the way now.

Hmm, I dunno. I was just finally reading this and he also says something that makes me think the opposite.
