Eric, where did those pictures come from?
Weidz posted a link to a site, I'll see if I can find it again.

Yer awesome, Eric, lol. Thanks for that!
Eric I just watched your vid! LOL you're adorable!
Finally got to watch this Eric
That was priceless. I giggled quite a bit.
Aww thanks guys! I'm glad you liked it!

Looks like it's the same demon, they've just added to him:
I'm questioning weather there is normal lyrium in this game or not...
Pretty sure this is Skyhold:
Yeah, agree. I'm the least interested in him. I still say he would've been ten times more interesting if he were an elf.
I imagine that you would say that. Not that there's anything wrong with liking elves, or that there's anything wrong with wanting characters to be elves. But as it happens, I find him more interesting as a human. I kind of like the idea that his politics set him apart from his background, not his race. IDK, I guess that when it's all about (fictional) races - human, elf, or dwarf - and less about story line, it feels lazy somehow, as if they were hiding behind pointy ears to make the character unique.
I got 118 views!?!?!?!?!?!

Harsh lol
I wanted him to be an elf, not because I love elves (I would not want IB or Blackwall or Cass to be an elf) but because I think it would be vastly more interesting to meet an elven Tevinter magister than a mere human one. There is just more conflict there. Especially if Dorian the Tevinter Elf were a ruthless magister and had elven slaves of his own... oh, I'd be fine if that was all part of his past, and he'd come to regret his old ways (even if he held on to them to some extent). But just imagine him leaving the glorious land of Tevinter and encounter the way things are in the rest of the world... elves universally downtrodden and treated like crap. How would he react to that? For sure he'd have SOME manner of reaction... unlike Dorian the Human Tevinter magister.
So I thin the demo tomorrow has a race/gender/class showcase judging form the tweets, but I'm not going to bank on it.... either way I'm still gonna be surprised!
Sorry, Artemis, I wasn't being judgmental! Please understand that I was scarred forever by that whole "If it ain't elvish, it's crap!" thing, and I've kind of developed a knee-jerk defense mechanism toward humans. These days, they take it on the chin on tumblr and elsewhere for being dull (and that's one of the kinder adjectives), but in the past, it was even worse. I've played in tabletop groups where players were not allowed to roll human characters because they were "boring." Perhaps in response to that, I find myself cheering for humans with unusual backgrounds. Because they aren't boring.
I wanted to share my write-up of the E3 XBox Media Brief. I'll be doing one for all of the other delicious parts soon. This is my first write-up so I wanted to keep it simple. :3 Anyway, please enjoy and share!
MELI'S LAND OF HAPPINESS AND JOY aka "Oh, My Word!"
I think it's hard to go back and talk about DA2 when we can talk about brand new reveals about DA:I.
I think there are many answers to your questions, the simplest being: if he'd done it earlier, he would be the hero of the story. This is besides all the very human doubts he has before the ending, that he also expresses to Hawke along the way, particularly in Act 3. I think he's just human, like the rest of us, not the superperfect hero of the story. And that's why many of us find him interesting.
Yup. If a character starts out infallible, there's no room for growth.
Heeeeey, they released a picture of the female qunari mage while I slept!
And Dorian in that picture looks great, I just so want to shave off his moustache.
Makes up for the construction workers outside waking me at 6 am.
Morning everyone!
Any news? :B I left after the really short interview (if you can call it that) with Aaryn Flynn. Did anything major happen after that? Besides the qunari female pic?

I'M GOING TO PLAY THIS GAME SO HARD!!!
WHAAAAAAT? Omg I am totally fangirling right now. She looks amazing! I have waited so long to see a qunari female, I had so many pictures in my head.
Zippo
So I might as well have slept for another few hours
Is it still today or already tomorrow up where E3 is happening? As in is it still the same day there as it was when the trailers came out? I'm so confused about the time zones right now. It's happening in America right?

It's in Los Angeles. They're on pacific time so they're like 9 hours back from Central European Time (8 if you're in the UK). So it's not quite today there yet, it's like 10 pm.

Hey, no problem! At least now I know where you're coming from, lol!
My experience with fantasy has always been a lonely one; I have never played D&D with friends or even shared novels or games with friends. And I was always teased (not in a mean way) by friends and family for being an elf lover... teehee, I have just always had a fascination with them and always wanted to be one lol I was also discovering what was then called yaoi (called BL now), and though the two weren't related, my friends were aware of my odd tastes, and when LOTR came out, I was teased mercilessly when Legolas came onto the screen; he was habitually called "Artemis' [insert my real name] gay elf" by everyone lol I didn't mind; it made me grin, but yeah. I don't necessarily think of humans as boring, but if you give me a choice, I will always pick the elf / faerie / you-know-what-I-mean character, especially if I can be a guy, because the androgyny appeals to me mightily. To me a male elf is very similar to an asari... they represent how I feel about myself, which hey, is why sf/f is so cool!!! Damn realistic gender binaries lol
Sigh, I wish someone would play the tabletop games with me; I would love to actually "be" an elf!!!!
Dorian is fineee~~~~. If he's the gay option and Cullen is a bi option, I wouldn't be able to choose which one to romance first for my malequisitor.

What are tabletop games?
What are tabletop games?
Like Dungeons and Dragons. I've never played one before, but you create a character and then use dice to figure out how to fight... and stuff... okay I'm not the best person to answer this lol
They should post the better shots of him now, given that he is totally the guy with the lion helmet featured in the trailer.

Oh lol I didn't no that was what they were called. My brothers and I are closet geeks and every Sunday we get together and play Warhammer quest
It is lots of fun, we make up the most stupidest quest you can think of and drink
I've just brought 3 new elf figurines to paint.
Edit: I always just called it a board game
Does anyone know what time the events are tomorrow? I had them in Word, but then I closed the program before saving >.<
What do you guys think we will learn tomorrow? SOOO... they are going to demo the female qunari mage. What do you think will be demoed?
Do you think we will see other races, classes, and genders?
DO YOU THINK WE'LL GET TO SEE THE CC?????
*pauses and takes deep, calming breahts*
I mean... do you??
