Either Bio is trolling us with Cullen's mask or they still work on him. Feels weird though cause I would never suspect Cullen to wear one, especially being an oddball one like here. Puzzled. But yay, more Cullen. And Leliana kicking major ass left me hopeful that we'll actually see him being all cool and kickassy.

You're right on both account.
He didn't have shield in the Xbox trailer though. Regardless, it seems the advisors (at least Leliana and Cullen) will have weapons.

I think the mask might reflect his status of the general of the Inquisition, which symbol seems to be the Lion.

He fights with a two-handed sword in the Darkspawn Chronicles. Anyway, IRL if you want to use a two-handed sword, you must also be good with a longsword, because sometimes the situation does not allow to use 2-handed (you may not have enough room to swing it, for example). So Cullen probably trained with both.

I think it's part her hat, her proximity to the camera, the fact she's on a high but close step. The height I'm really interested in is the elves'. I want short elves!

Sera has an amazing face! Pretty but tough and Vivienne is just so beautiful but so smug at the same time And I liked it how they had different sets of clothing on not just the same basic armor all the time. I hope they'll have casual outfits for both the companions/ advisors and our inquisitor too.

We saw him fight in Darkspawn Chronicles, which was with two-hander. In DA:I, you can spec out your warrior followers either way... I wonder if somehow that includes advisors..? That would suggest a higher level of control than I would've expected.

So I keep staring at this second pic, trying to see the figure off the right side of the screen. It's like a person, but with long pointy arms, kinda like that nightmare/terror creature. (TBH, it kinda looks like Zuul from Ghostbusters. )

Ooo, just realised Solas was in the trailer for like, 2 seconds.  Oh dear, I was trying not to squeal when I saw the trailer because I was with my dad and he was already looking at me weirdly because of the noises coming out of me.  Ah dear.  On with the show tonight then!

I have to ask because it is driving me insane at this point.  Does anyone know what instrument the musician in the E3 trailer video is playing?

 

When I first watched it I wasn't looking carefully and I just thought she was playing a cello but a little later I went back to listen to it again because it was so beautiful and now I really don't think it is.  You only see her for a few seconds and the angles aren't great but the fingerboard looks way too long for a cello to me.  Is it a tanbur?  I'm not familiar with the instrument but I know they can be bowed.

 

Am I imagining things?  If you know, could you tell me - please?  

I'm pretty sure it's a cello, but an electric one, which has a thinner body than an acoustic cello, just as electric guitars have thinner bodies than acoustic guitars. The proportions look off because she's playing it standing up and we're used to seeing cellists seated, but the fingerboard didn't look too long to me, and I (try to) play mine every day.
